Please give us the ability to select what text chat we wish to monitor (on console).

When will ZOS give us the ability (on console) to selectively turn off particular text chats?
I know you can turn off the text 'hud' to not see any text chat but when you are in multiple guilds it would be nice to be able to choose if you want to monitor a guilds text chat or not.
As it stands I have no choice but to monitor all chat or none at all. As a generally non-social person, I am in guilds mainly for trading but if I see a guild member wanting help with something and I can assist, I will. Therefore I like to monitor text chat while I am playing but have a huge issue with the verbal diarrhea that can sometimes fill the text chat window.
I couldn't take it last night and actually left a perfectly good guild because of the rubbish filling up my text chat window.

Eshelmen✭✭✭✭✭As a PS4 player, I'm all for this. It's kind of ridiculous to have to turn off all chat, when really only one or two(out of several chat modes) at most is the reason you've turned it off in the first place! Aka Zone chat spamming.
Should be like any other MMO out there.
Guild chat 1 through 5 options, each can be on or off.
Zone chat on or off
Local chat on or off
Group chat on or off

Eshelmen✭✭✭✭✭Unless there is some hidden commands to type in, it's not an option for us console users.
Another annoying thing that definitely promotes spam, is the inability to link an item without it automatically sending it to the chat channel.
I don't know why they felt this was the best way to go.
For example in zone chat(huge for selling items), people can not link an item and have words in the same sentence. Once you click link in chat it automatically sends it.
You can't put WTS [item]
And that also means you can't link multiple items in the same sentence either. Resulting in more spam.
So instead of-
Chat line 1- WTS [item] [item] [item]
This is how it really is-
Chat line 1- [item]
Chat line 2- Random other person in local chat - "You got owned son!"
Chat line 3- [item]
Chat line 4- Random other person- "I wasn't trying!"
Chat line 5- [item]
Chat line 6- "Yeah right, scrub!"
