Housing

So I stopped playing the game just before the housing system came online with a plan to rejoin the game for morrowind (I'm slightly addicted to having a massive bear companion) however in recent weeks I have decided to have a gander at the housing. With my Monthly crown coins I was able to purchase the cavern in craglorn. Now my first impression after dropping so many crowns was disappointment as upon entering the house I was unable to use things such as crates/ desks (with drawers) to stash items and essential use my house as a bank. I found that I was unable to use the bed (pointless I know) but I thought it might have been interactable. So my question really is what's the point of houses?

Vanity item at the moment.

I'll get one with Morrowind as im just a huge fanboy of TES3 and I'm still sitting on crowns from where I took a break but they really serve no purpose outside of being trophy/role playing.

You can put crafting (generic or a specific set) / dye stations in them, all mundus stones can be put in them in morrowind. Training dummies to test dps. That's about it as far as functionality goes at the moment

Personally I'm hoping after Morrowind drops we will see increased functionality in housing, they have a good frame work, but a lot still needs to be added and hopefully they will start that soon.

I missed the Mundus stone bit, how does that work??
