I look about every month or two but I really think it would keep people more involved with eso in general. Maybe an app that you can collect your hirelings and collect your mail and send mail or maybe even sell stuff through guild trader.
That'll have to be in game, cos otherwise people don't even bothered to log in to check mail and check guilds.
Right but isn't that the point. Zos would make extra money off of advertising on cell phone app where this does not happen in game. People would still log on daily to do writs so it's not like the game would just go stale I think it would actually involve people more. Sometimes people don't have access to a desktop, like when I'm working lol.
Still a good way to check your mail for events and stuff. People are always complaining about how hard it is to organize events. This would just help people check mail and such when away from home.

Lol these forums are a riot I could ask what's better dark chocolate or milk and people would claim the sky is falling and milk chocolate is better but zos is gonna charge a monthly fee if you want to experience white chocolate. I mean come on guys its a buisness and they gotta stay in right? Can we just drop the pay to play garbage. I mean it use to be a monthly sub for everyone until pc users cried about xbox and psn being free. By the way proud NA pc monthly subscriber.
I want an app that I can check Guild vendors, gather gold from sold items, buy items if I want, and that also has a built in stat sheet so I can play around with builds on my phone while I'm at work or just bored.
What I would love to see is a change in security/release of API details so that perhaps the community could make something. It probably wouldn't be too difficult to build either. Could probably even go with something like a meanjs boilerplate as the foundation.
Obviously Eve Online and ESO are two very different titles with very different code, but CCP Games (makers of eve) have done a great job in that area. Player-made market apps (more advanced than TTC), Skill plan apps that monitor your character in real time, (obviously not applicable to ESO but cool regardless), and unexplored territory mapping apps (referring to the wh mapper Tripwire for those of you familiar with it) among many others make life grand in Eve.
I would love to one day see ESO have a really healthy player-driven app scene like that.
*cough cough* ZOS I need work , throw me a bone here *cough cough*
