Guild trader bid and updating

If you put a 100k bid down, your history says you bid 100k. If i then update the bid by 50k the history says you bid 50k. I'm assuming the game recognises you have upped the bid by 50k to 150k....is this the case?? Or is the last bid you put on, higher or lower is the actual amount bid?

    The bids are additive...

So if you bid 100k, and then bid an extra 50k, as long as its in the same bidding week then you have then basically bid 150k.

I really dislike the guild trader system now though tbh, people rig the biddings way to much and then make monopolies of sister guilds just to sell that spot for more profit. Here people complain about a centralized market / auction house yet people are doing the same thing here as well with the guild traders (inflating prices / buying reselling using TTC / scamming with fake pcs etc.) everything that a centralized auction house already does.
