Turns out that items get bound, the guild were not happy XD

That reminds me I once withdrew all items out of the big guild bank and sold them all to NPC for a large amount of gold for a horse and bag upgrades, I thought those items are free for me to take as there's no restrictions, lol, got kicked out the next day, so sorry for that guild, such a noob.. my first ever mmo guild.

Also sold all purple and gold mats to NPCs, as I thought I only ever need dropped gears and never need to craft...

Ouch!!! To the both of you but in all honesty part of the noobness falls on the guild leaders as well because they have guild restrictions for a reason that is to protect the guild bank from newby mistakes like you two made

I used to not wear a helmet because I didn't want it to hide my character's face (didn't know there was a hide option until later).

I went full health regen build because it was very low as a vampire. (I thought I was very smart).

Back when there was no colouring option, I left some of my gear blue or even green because the colour was better.

Early on I thought nearly every item I got with a colored title, or a name that was like "...of Stamina" or "... of Fire" was really special and I horded them as long as I could. I spent so many of the first few days trading white items out for green, then green out for blue. By the end of the first week I realized they were junk, haha.

As a stamina dps, I entered my first 4-man dungeon wearing 7 pieces of heavy armor, no set combination and all my attribute points in health. This is my first game of this type, so I had no clue about what I was doing.

Fortunately, after finishing the run (don't remember if we completed it or not), one of the guys in the group told me: "Hey, as a stamina dps you'd want to use this, this, this...".
