I think someone is stealing my gold.

I could of sworn I had 3 million gold in my bank. It is down to 2 mill. Is there a way ZoS can check if someone is logging into my account and mailing my gold over to a character on another account?

Yes. Report it, contact customer service. They can check if your account logged in from another device.

(However for some reason I think that if someone would have stolen gold from you bank would have taken it all). Good luck.

They can check, but they won't do it based on a forum thread. Open a support ticket. Also, change your game password ASAP.

Thinking same thing if a thief has the evilness to steal 1m he has no problem stealing 3m lol

OP maybe you were drunk and pulled out 1m and bet it all on rbg?

whats rbg? I thought I looked at my banked gold and saw a 3 in front. Now its down to 2. I think someone is taking little by little hoping I wont notice.

Change password for game and email and make sure they are not the same.

If someone has found a way to log into your account without you giving them the information both your game and email passwords are compromised.

However, think about it, why would they take a small amount and not the entire cash of gold unless their hoping you will never notice.

Based on OP's description, highly doubt it is what he fears (assuming his description is the entirety as described)

Simple common sense - what kind of a thief has the ability to log into OP's account and allegedly steals, yet only takes 1M of the 3M balance? If you're going to steal, why wouldn't the entire balance not be cleaned out?

I get the part of someone logging or hacking in just to see if they could and not steal anything. I also get people being thieves and cleaning you out. But seems highly improbable a completely random stranger taking only part of your gold.

What seems more likely is OP lent his account to a 'friend', and this 'friend' is hoping he doesn't notice part of gold being missing. That's the only probable scenario I can think of where someone steals, but only takes part of what you have. If it was a hacker or actual random stranger, they'd have cleaned him out entirely.

You might want to check that out or it could be server lag and not properly logging how much gold you had.

This happened to me too, I would be missing gold or find my character in a different zone that what I had logged off from.

You need to start remembering how you left your character the last time you logged off, cause unless whoever may be using your account is incredibly meticulous about covering their tracks, you'll notice things are different when you log back in, such as your character being in a different spot than you left it, or other oddities.

Could have been a family member as well but more than likely it was a hacker or maybe he was just drunk thinking he had one thing but really another. lol

Check if its on one of your alt characters (if you had any) i have a pumpkin spectre box on one of them, stopped playing for about 6 months, came back and looked in my bank, thought it was gone, then I checked my other characters inventories, remembering I found it on my alt, and voila - it was on my alt.

There was actually an issue of disappearing gold a month back, but this was from guild banks. So yeah might be a real concern. Thou really wanted to say you were paranoid, at last it needs to be reported.

If just as described, then if someone is doing that they are using your computer to do so.

If they are not using your computer, then they also need to know the email you signed up with and it's password. And every time you log in after, you would get the computer not recognized/authorized since last log in was with a different computer.

No one uses my pc but me. Maybe I'm just hallucinating, I don't know. But I thought I went over the 3 mill mark. I will check my email to see if I have any of those messages you said, just to make sure.
