It's reduced for sure, but not a bad thing given the prices dropped sharply!

i have a 9 trait crafter that knows EVERY motif - and have NEVER recieved any writ

my other characters that know next top no traits or motifs receive writs all the time.

the drop rate of master writs is supposed to increase if you have more traits & moatives learned, clearly the coding is the wrong way around

i have raised this topic multiple times both here & on various social media platforms, submited bug reports all of which have been ignored.

Same. My maxed crafter with all crafting, research, motifs etc., never gets any.

I am experiencing the opposite. I used to only get writs worth 2-5 vouchers and only about once or twice a week. The past week I've received 2-3 a day, worth anywhere from 20-100 vouchers. I'm not even kidding. I tested my new found RNG and skinned 57 fish----got 4 PERFECT ROE. Like WTF?

Yesterday I skinned 20+ fish, got 3 roes. Today I fished for hours and got nothing. It all evens out eventually. :pensive:

Definately reduced the drop rate...7 days now for about half the number of writs i usually get. It seems to have affected my master crafter the most though, she hardly gets any now (about 1-2 a week) despite knowing EVERY motif/trait & all the crafting achievements.

The problem with this kind of thread is that a nerf is assumed because previous levels of drops aren't being met. However, in most cases the "previous level" is nothing I recognize.

For a while you were lucky, and now you're not.

While there are many of us who aspire to being at the "unlucky" level :(

True, several days is too small a period to call it.
However I have been logging all master writ drops on 10 crafters since master writs started, and this week has been the leanest by far.

My main is a master crafter, I have almost all recipes, researched 9 traits in everything, and have almost every motif etc. I find the drop rate for Master Writs is incredibly inconsistent. Interestingly, the best Writs I have had (by a huge margin), have come from other characters, which have far, far fewer recipes, motifs and traits researched (etc).

I have started to theorise that there's something wrong with the mechanic, so that once you get to a certain level of knowledge, the drop rate falls away unintentionally. Certainly, recently, the drop rate has fallen off across all my characters - across 3 accounts!
