Xbox one performance unacceptable

The performance of this games servers are totally unacceptable, played on XB1 to start with and things were fine, moved to PS4 things were much better went back to xbox still ok now I've bought the game again after a long break and it just feels completely broken, laggy as heavy attacks lag everywhere... Hows it on other platforms of late?

as long as you dont do anything fun in the game like a trial or pvp it runs fine. ZOS knows the game runs like crap they dont care about the situation or their customers.

Runs fine? I had to change from a sorc because the delay when casting my crystal blast was horrendous.

For like the millionth thousandth billionth time, the issue with Xbox is the interference of Microsoft. ZoS has been trying to improve performance for a very long time.

As long as you're ok with setting up your characters to dps,tank,or heal on 1 bar and you can get through content with half of your players crashing you should be fine. Get your single target dps up to 90k per person so you can make it through with half the players. Stop blaming ZoS for releasing and selling a product that doesn't work, ignoring its player base, and expecting us to pay for the next content (while nerfing every class that's currently accessible).

Hahah! I'm white knighting for ZoS because I see the real issues? Look at my history and know that I am no advocate for ZoS.

I'm sure many Xbox players will disagree that PC has the same issues. Why does Xbox have such horrible issues, when PS4 and PC operate far better?

If there was ever a time that it ran smooth it was before VR ranks were removed and 14 was the highest. Even then I don't remember if it really played that well (seems so long ago).

I run the game on a standard Xbox one and an elite and they both have performance issues. I've never had a flawless experience like how I've seen some PC players blessed with. Some activities are worse than others but everything suffers in some form.

There are players who deny experiencing any of these issues on Xbox one (maybe the S edition) but I can't see how. Make no mistake, this game suffers on Xbox one and you are not alone. Oh and it's not your internet like some people will tell you (unless it really is of course).

Since i have been back and i have played on all 3 platforms since PC launch. Performance is horrible man especially in Cyrodiil. Questing is ok. But i play the game for PVP and i have now gotten up to 360 CP and just started jumping in Cyrodiil on Xbox a few times now, wanted to get my CP up a little. I have not had one even average night with performance. Gonna decide soon if i will leave the game due to the performance, if it was good i would definitely continue to sub and play. But its unplayable for me cause every little sec in PVP is huge. So its not just on your end man.

Are you saying this from a PvP experience? Cause Cyrodiil has ALWAYS been a gigantic lag fest.

I play on Xbox and there's hardly ever lag in the PvE overworld. Sometimes in Dungeons but it's negligible.

I deal with the fact that I'm going to get some lag due to distance. Everything else seems to work fine. Sometimes group finder is a little buggy, but that's about it for issues playing on my Xbox.

It's poorly optimizatied game as it's not like other games on Xbox are having trouble. Play a game like csgo and you wonder why our trials so bad except the elite systems when other games can get it. There's no denying it something is wrong. I hope Morrowind comes with an hardware or some optimization.

Lol.....I also have the pc version as having played since pc beta. It's no smooth sailing on pc either but does run better for sure. I transferred to console which started out not too badly. The more dlc they keep adding to the game is just making it worse. It's like the game is just too much for xbox too handle anymore. I am wondering if the new Scorpio will help or if it is all on Zos end and failure to fix this game to work properly on console. Maybe they just don't care. Would be a sad thing as console is a huge player base.

yah the game ran pretty smooth when it first came out on xbox, occasional ui error message, if this morrowind update goes like the orsinium update went (lost my 9 trait crafter their for awhile) then im gonna switch to pc. i just really dont want to grind out my stuff again.

It's like this... I don't even pvp in a population campaign anymore I go to a buff campaign for red or blue hope on my yellow NB ganker. and go take all the stones from the little zerg balls in ICP and I really have enjoyed it. I have not left there is ZERO LAG and I can use the stones for mats for crafting and or items to sell or the costumes. PVE I hate to say it but it's better late at night or early morning. I have been working night shift for some time now and I get on around 1am and the game is fine since no one is really on it has giving me time to get quest done or grind gear or mats but yes they need to work on there servers.

I know you guys love to min max and optimise everything but I'm just a casual that makes his own build with things I enjoy using and crystal blast was probably my fave thing... space magic baby
