Deleted a locked weapon

I was clearing out some inventory space while in a public dungeon and when I finished my main weapon was gone. I had it locked and it somehow was deleted. How is this possible? I submitted a ticket but was told the weapon cannot be replaced. This is unacceptable. The item was LOCKED! It was a legendary elegant lightning staff sharpened. All of my gold items are always locked. Is this a known bug? Please help.

Jciampi✭✭✭Not for nothing, but do you have the banker? Check your bank. Maybe you put it in there by mistake. Outside that, that sucks. Hope they can help1 -

If they can help people that accidently enchant their vma weapons there is no reason why they couldn't help you with this too imo..English is not my native language, no grammar police please, tyvm1 -

✭And I've got my Inferno Moondancer Sharpened Staff disappeared along with my Maelstrom Inferno Sharpened Staff disappearing at the same time. Same for all my Sharpened Lightning staves... So how is this possible? It seem to affect Sharpened weapons only...And especially those that never were here...0 -

✭The issue may be that sometimes when deleting items from inventory in speed mode, some trashy gears may be exchanged accidentally (if we choose an option to slot item instead of delete) for the one from character slots and these may be deleted in the process. If I'm tired I hardly see difference between green and yellow item when they are placed all between tons of similar gears.
Sometimes it happens to me, to accidentally exchange items (even if they are locked) and if I'm not focused hard on what I'm doing there is high risk of deleting some golden stuff
