They are rising prices over and over. I think in the future all crown store items will be so expensive, that nobody will buy them anymore. I still remember when I started playing this game and crown store items had really nice prices. Now it's just ridiculous.

✭✭They don't release motifs on the Crown Store until they're on farm in game. Every motif, except maybe Ancient Orc, is easy to get in game and/or cheap on guild traders. The high price in crowns is the convenience fee. Don't want to farm? Pay the fee. The Crown Store itself is a convenience market. You guys act like you are being coerced into something. You're not.9 -

Using the home analogy again; in gold these homes are around 3.7mil; but buying the individual pages for these in auction houses would be a trivial amount in gold for your average end game player. This is ridiculous; was no thought put into this? I might be sympathetic for the motifs from the Hist Dungeon runs but this one is fairly common these days.0 -

✭✭✭✭✭Eh, seems like another "big upset over nothing" issue. Motifs are mostly cosmetic (and, due to crafting not giving amazing gear, somewhat useless). So there's little "need" to buy this item. And it's grindable in-game, but slowly. S
o, "cosmetic item" + "paying for convenience of avoiding grind" = high price.
And no reason to pay that price in the first place.
So, no reason the be upset. It's not like you have any reason to buy it. (and, really, would you even have bought it for 3k crowns? No? Then why does it matter if it's 6k, or even 60k?) /shrug1 -

I am pretty sure they priced this at the upper end of what they think people will pay. Deliberately. The more people complain, the more confirmation they have that it is high enough.

Galwylin✭✭✭✭✭First time I seen this motif, I liked it. No way in hell would I have paid $60 for it. Except for axes and a few other things, I just bought the motifs off a trader for less than 60k gold. Total rip off. I think I'd rather have my gold back sit it doesn't move as nice as I thought it would have. I still don't understand why this company keeps charging so much for stuff. Are there really some clowns buying it that don't know how in game gold works? I don't care how easy something is to get in game with these prices, ZOS paints itself exactly for what it is. This type of stuff should be to offer something easy to get in game and for them to make a little cash from. Not support the company with. Just how bankrupt are you, ZOS? Morally.3
