Does this fear vampire players in pvp? Was thinking of trying it out on Stam sorc against gimpy ganking nightblades. Says it fears undead etc.

✭To further buff vampires they probably removed it. I miss the old days when everyone and their grandma's were not vampires because that increased fire damage was real. Now it's a joke.

Fire damage was never a thing...counterable by a single piece of Fire resist jewelry and awareness of one's surroundings. Those were also the days where swarm hit like a truck. I'm guessing you don't miss that part.To further buff vampires they probably removed it. Nightblades obviously, Circle of Protection for WW/vamps, WW skills and the synergy for one of the moprhs of the Undaunted skill - the other one makes spiders that do more damage. The fear one is better in PvP and almost never expected by foes. Good for stam-heavy build teams.0 -

Got my first Emp kill when Silver Bolts had just been added to the game.
Wasn't sure it was going to work on vamp players but it did. I nailed him twice in 2 minutes.
It was epic!

✭✭✭✭✭There's a trick to using circle of protection and some suits in PVP . Vampire cloak was stacking with circle of protection and if a vamp ganker attacked inside the circle that dmg was reduced by almost 20% on top they would get feared and then trapped in talons . Had to play DK a little like a dot Templar and stay in one spot . The fear only works one time and would have to be recast after the breakfree timer wore off but there is some good tricks even on Magic classes that can be pulled off in PVP with fighter guild abilities . Also used evil hunter on my DK with it .0 -

I enjoyed swarm hitting like a truck lol it was fun to sit on the sidelines and watch people get mowed down by it. So yes in a way I do miss it. Watching the same thing happen with destro ult brings me back to those days but it is not as satisfying.0 -

It fears Vampires and Werwolves in PvP, annoying but not threatining plus it costs a bomb

It works quite well at present given sorcs have low cost. Last night I was crit charging+fear and ruining these mag sorcs. Was quite fun and I don't think a lot of people understood what was happening. It's also proven quite a good defense when you get a magdk in your face too. The cost wasn't too much of an issue given I'm running 45k stamina. But it does appear that cyro is at least 90% vamp atm.

Doing nothing except blocking, breaking CC, sometimes dodging.... no stam = dead. 9k isn't enough stam unless you are safely embedded in a zerg stacking healbots or are very good with shields and stamina management.
