I only started playing the game early last year, I still remember my noob moments, now looking back I find it sweet and funny.

When I started I always looked at the flock of people at guild trading stalls and wondering why and who would use those, and now I can't live without a guild trader.
When I started I always stand outside group dungeons waiting for people to come so we can group up and go in, didn't even know there's a thing called activity finders, lol.

What's yours, let's hear it!

I tried to run a hybrid build, and my primary weapon was a bow with no AOE.

Mostly I did a lot of noob things and took some time to try new things, but I learned what I could while I played and did alright. Before the Veteran nerf of the NPC's, I still managed to do just fine in PVE overland.

Before One Tamriel I was low level and I was scared of Imperial City. I went in creeping around, staying hidden the best I could to loot chests for telvar.

Simply so I could buy the charcoal of remorse to craft my new Xivkyn armour because I had just bought the motif from the crown store.

My first character was a Breton Dragonknight, heavy armor wearing 2h wielding warrior with most points into Magicka and most damaging abilities being stamina.

I remember not having any means of healing aside from potions until I unlocked Dragon Blood at level somewhere between 30-40, so quest fights were...interesting. I remember the rivenspire questline final boss fight in particular. I was using a bow trying to dodge all of the red circles, being at a quarter health waiting to be able to use my potions...

The fact I always seemed to be 1-5 levels below the quests I was doing didn't help either, but I liked the story too much, I didn't wanna quit.

In the end the final boss of the DC storyline was epic, because the only means of AOE damage I knew how to do was with an ultimate, so seeing that army come out was crazy to me XD (plus the plot line for that battle was really intense too)

Nowadays though armies just drop like flies.

My first character around launch was a sorc. I vividly remember hard-casting frags at the DK emp and not putting 2 and 2 together when I'd repeatedly eat frags to the face. I think I thought another sorc happened to be casting at me. Took me multiple weeks to figure out what was going on.

Nice. I still prefer first person, when not in a group.

My noob moment was wondering why I did not have to charge my destruction staff with a filled soul gem--there was no enchant on it.

Lolol I was the same!

Waaay back during the first weeks of release, 2 friends and I decided to tackle Direfrost Keep. All three of us were DPS, wearing mismatched green armour (none of us had a clue on sets or even on improving what we did have - or food either for that matter! XD)
Scaling hadn't been introduced at that time, and we were a couple of levels below what was recommended for Direfrost. We naively thought we'd manage with the three of us!

Needless to say we died - a lot! We got about half way through before giving up, with one of my friends rage quitting.

It's quite funny looking back now and realizing how totally noob I was then! :D

Well, I didn't know I could craft set gear until I hit vet ranks .

Some other things I can remember doing:

    - I had an Altmeri stamina dragonknight dps, built for pve with heavy armor and a greatsword.
    - I used Mages Wrath as my spammable dps ability on my magicka sorcerer because I liked calling lightning from the sky.
    - I thought that only one player could loot dolmen chests, so used to leave it if I wasn't the first player at the dolmen because I thought there'd be a fight over it.

Bought the gold edition. Took me 3 days to realize I didn't have to buy a mount from the Stablemaster and that I had a mount in my collections the entire time :) Crafted and golded Seducer Head and Shoulder pieces. Bought some c160 glyphs to enchant them, realized I crafted them at 150 when the glyphs wouldn't work.
