Its Sony and Microsoft.... we have discussion every week...
Starting to sound like Charlie Browns teacher... wha wha wha, wha, wha wha wha wha wha
@ThePaleItalian
Care to explain how it's Sony and Microsoft when ZOS hasn't submitted the update for cert yet?
Please read the post above this.
@ThePaleItalian
I did that's why I quoted you. Ginas comment isn't that they submitted and Xbox and Sony delayed the release it's that they haven't submitted for cert and won't do so until after PC is ready but then it takes time to go through certification so ZOS decided to release pc early rather than on June 6th.
Go back and read all relevant dev fracker comments on this and then please respond to my question if warranted.
Did she say due to the time needed? Read what she said. I am just stating that if anything ever goes wrong or people don't get something, its always on ZoS. I was on PC to start and I jumped to PS4.
Does anyone ever go after Sony or Microsoft? Just curious.

She confirms they haven't sent for cert and are deciding to wait until they feel pc is ready and then will release on PC and submit for cert for consoles.

If we sent the console update for certification early, then it wouldn't include most of the fixes and tweaks we add in the later PTS patches which is less than ideal.
Well they don't win either way. Plus you play on Xbox and PC, so why are you so upset?

You knew you'd get to play on June 6th. You're still getting to play on June 6th. You're literally not losing anything, or being inconvenienced in any way. You don't deserve a free gift for that.

@ZOS_GinaBruno
Why would they you should be greatful they even took the time to go cross platform at launch they claimed it would be PC only

You chose to play on a platform that has a restricted ecosystem within. All code that runs through a console must be preapproved. This takes time. You say fair? I say stop being selfish.

I love that incredibly stupid remark PC players use.
Its easier to do things on PC. Therefore, PC players get more additional content.
Its harder to do things on Console. Therefore, Console players get left out.
Console players wish and ask for more inclusion. PC players tell us to stop being so selfish.
?!!??!? Do you even see the blatant entitlement in that statement? "We dont want to share the special attention we get, stop wanting whats fair, its selfish, shame on you."

It's easier to do things on PC: ZOS is in total control of their own assets and servers and players connection to them.
It's harder to do things on console: ZOS has limitations as to what can be done, and approval processes they must deal with to get their product into the console ecosystems.
Consoler players wish and blah blah: This has nothing to do with PC vs console, I am saying stop being selfish to someone being selfish.
Creds: Have gaming PC, XB1 and PS4, own ESO on PC and PS4. Have owned every traditional console (no handheld) both Sony and Microsoft have made, most Nintendos, Most Segas, Atari -including Jaguar 64. Don't assume crap because you think I am a "PC player". I was playing games on consoles LONG before I ever had a computer, and during the duration except for a period of time in between my third Xbox360 dying and picking up a PS3.

I dont beleive anyone asked for "credentials". You want me to take your word as Law cause you have an extensive gaming history? Yeah, so does most others, including yours truly. However i dont use that to solidify what i say. I just know whats right from wrong, and your use of the word selfish is very wrong.
Why would people even want to play this on a console is what I've been asking myself for months now
Asking for some sort of compensation because something is perceived as unfair is dumb and selfish.
Lol I doubt these pc players would be as defensive of this as they are now if it was coming to console first.

Fair? Maybe this is squaring up the nearly year long content drought I went through while all dev effort was centered on making the game available to you on console.
.
You decided to buy an on purpose limited machine with ridiculous release policies and checks all developers have to go through and that are a total pain in the ass.
Totally your own choice.

The same people that defend it would be the first complaining if consoles were given the content earlier. Fact of the matter is that we all paid the same price with the same release date. I am jealous of the fact that a certain group of customers get content I pre-ordered before I will. However, I believe that it is really cool that the PC players get the content if it will be ready. I fail to see why the post quoted will not see anything due to ignorance. In fact, I do not see why PC players have anything to say in this thread. You guys got something, great. Console players are asking to not be left out. What business do you have telling us we can't do that?
Fair...
Console getting more than they already are, fair?
You are getting two extra weeks to prepare. Two extra weeks of farming the sets you want. Two extra weeks of regen.
PC users are getting what? Two weeks of testing on the live server.
But console should get an extra crown crate.
Why would people even want to play this on a console is what I've been asking myself for months now
