How to put a transmog system in the crown store.

You buy the convert option to what ever racial style you want.(the one like the imperial system instead you can convert all armour and weapons. No exceptions)

So you buy the Breton converter for 3000 crowns. You can convert any armour to the Breton style, that way even as you level up you can look stylish.

I would pay as much as 4000 crowns to do this.

    somewhat different idea...

you buy a "blank" costume, to which you can apply and save any appearance related element (costume pieces, armor, clothing, disguises, etc. The "blank" can be saved, named and used as a "custom" costume.

Nope keep this out of the crown store, crafters are struggling for relevance as it is with the devalued crafted armor set and no jewelry options for the same sets.
Better to give this skill to crafters, make it worthwhile to know all those motifs, traits etc...

    No, no and no.
    • The "convert to imperial" option is crap, as its useless on set items, which are what the proper endgame character has to go for to stay competetive.
    • The "blank costume" option is suboptimal, as it would be more intensive to add, and then end up too disconnected from the effect, people wearing heavy armor while having cotton clothing visuals... I always hate that in any game I see it.
    • And keeping it out of the crown store completely will ensure it never happens... because why should they pay their code jockeys to develop the function if they don't make extra profit from it?
Personally the best idea I encountered was the "Transformation Stones" here https://forums.elderscrollsonline.com/en/discussion/340849/two-ideas-how-to-introduce-any-gear-in-any-style-functionality-into-eso-transmog/p1

Let gear crafters be able to spend a skill point on a crafting-50 perk that enables them to make "transformation stones" for any style that crafter has learned, which then can be used to shift any equipment (from that crafting group - blacksmith, clothier, woodworker - or possibly just have a generic crafting stone regardless of craft...) visuals to that style.
Let these stones require a very rare ingredient that is farmable in game if you have the patience (like, say, perfect roe), but also available in the crown store for those who have more money then patience (so the suits in charge at ZOS will see an option for profit!, and make it happen...).

That way, we boost crafters, and have the transmogrification available to all through guild stores, AND have the people at ZOS actually consider it because profit.
