✭✭✭✭There is still action required to 'unlock' the chest, whether at Dolmen, trophy vault, treasure map, or good old fashioned use-a-lockpick type chests.
If there are exceptions otherwise, it should state that in the passive description.Just because you don't like the way something is doesn't necessarily make it wrong...

Probably has checkbox on Customer Service profile that say High Aggro, 99% immunity to BS5

Lonewolf628✭✭Before I unlocked the treasure hunter perk I was usually getting blue and green jewelry. After I unlocked it Im still usually getting blue or green jewelry. Maybe I'm getting slightly more blue jewelry but I'm still rarely getting purples. As far as the armor pieces you get from the chest, maybe I'm getting more blues... I'll pay closer attention and let you know later today.1 -

✭✭✭✭It has never made a difference for me -- I'm not sure I've ever gotten a purple jewelry piece from a Dolmen box, and non-jewelry Dolmen drops are still vanishingly rare for me.
It seems only to affect chests that have to be unlocked.7-day PVP campaign regular 2016-2019, Flawless Conqueror. MagDK/stamplar/stamwarden/mageblade. Requiem, Legend, Knights of Daggerfall. Currently retired from the wars; waiting on performance improvements.1 -
Pyr0xyrecuprotite✭✭✭✭✭According to another post, one of the ZoS people confirmed somewhere that the treasure hunter passive only applies to chests that require a key to open. So, chests in Trophy Vaults, open world, and Undaunted chests, but not those in Maelstrom/DSA or dolmens, nor those chests from the last boss of certain group dungeons (e.g ICP, CoA2) or after some trial boss fights.2
