Why don't all weapons from MoL "glow"?

Some do some don't why?
is it visual bug, intended, rng?

eg 1 of my twilight lightning glows and the other does not, why is this? Same with shields and 1hs etc.

I think it depends of the trait of the weapon. Probably bugged.

I have not looked into this very much myself, but I've heard some people say it only works on weapons obtained in vet, while normal ones don't glow. Other's say certain traits are bugged to not glow. I'm not sure as I don't use a staff from there on my healer.

Weapons with sharpened,precise,defending traits glow.

I have two MoL weapons, both from normal runs that I got, Powered dagger and a sharpened Sword of Alkosh, the sword glows while the dagger doesn't... Kind of crappy that only some of the weapons glow while others don't

Think they should all have the same effect, regardless of trait

I think I saw this posted before. Some folks thought only certain traits glow because they were originally the only traits available or something?

Ahh ok so that is why my powered resto doesnt glow but my defending does.

I have an infused alkosh dagger that glows in the character select screen. In game it only glows when the enchantment charge is fully depleted.

My well fitted alkosh shield glows, can test later with divines and infused.

You Sir/Ma'am are a freaking lifesaver!

Smacked things until my Decisive Moondancer Greatswords enchantment was depleted. The moment the enchantment was empty- the glow appeared!

All do. They were all in at launch and training and prosperous doesn't exist. I have divines, sturdy, nirnhoned and reinforced and they all glow.

It is not related to trait.

Out of 2 Moondancer Sharpened Swords I own only one is glowing.
Out of 3 Moondancer Precise Inferno Staves two are glowing and one isn't.
None of Moondancer Sharpened Lightning Staves I own is glowing.

All were looted in vMOL and not nMOL. The visual bug doesn't seem to be consistent. Also depleting the charge to 0 didn't seem to fix anything for me. Not that I care so much...
