With the houses that will be introduced in morrowind, 4 in total and a quick youtube search will show you them out in public as the nda is lifted on media. The houses themes after redoran hlaluu indoril and telvanni. So 4 new houses in a new major content patch and a while since zos said they were looking into adding more furniture slots... Any eta on furniture slot increases?

A comfortable amont would be for example lifting the old non eso slots allowed to the current slot number, so 700 slots for no eso plus in manors and 1400 for eso plus so I'm doing so housing creativity is doubled and from there zos can consider expanding on the allowed furniture

I agree, double the amount of items for all houses.

A timely post for sure, @aliyavana.

I agree I own the twin arches house and my max is 200 with eso plus. My yard is done and a quarter of my house is too but I am now at 100/200. That is so stupid I rather build houses and fill them in skyrim instead.

They said in an ESO Live that the furniture allotment was due to performance....that they wanted to test the system before expanding it. I think they cite an example of being uncertain what would happen if you placed all the furnishings in a small space then had the max number of players in the instance. (I.e., you build an arena with 700 parts then have 24 guildies over).

But some of the homes do need addl slots, particularly considering how many would be taken up by creating a lived-in space (like setting a full table for dinner). Grand Topal is particularly bad off (especially considering how much it cost). With ESO Plus it's 700 slots...but it "comes" with 150 already consumed. I went around removing rocks and got it down to like 70. Still...considering how large the island is, 700 would never allow a player to decorate the interiors AND landscape and have enough space for crafting stations and utility. Let alone build something cool...I want to build a shipwreck off shore against some rocks. I'm not sure if there's the right furnishings in the game to do so, but there's no way I have the slots to even try.

    Look at "Shalidors Library".
To have the readable books, all of them takes 297 slots! Plus 16 bookcases to hold them! (Note: You can't actually put the books on shelves atm as they clip the book cases and are un-readable, but this is being fixed in UD14).
That's 313 slots right off the bat for books.
I got the Ebonheart Chateau to use as a guild hall, and 700 slots is not near enough.
Dueling Arena, Attunables Crafting Stations, Test Dummies, Landscaping, Banker/Merchant Assistant, Lore Library, etc. just doesn't leave enough room for ambiance items.
Untill they give us actual guild halls I have tried to make this one as functionable as possible for guild mates, but it is really bare inside and in need of more "Filler" stuff.

Forget about faulty bookcases and use imagination, with a plank eg. you can save up to 15 slots :). It's my Grymharth Woe in Windhelm btw, 400 slots...

My cave has over 400 Sweetroll items in 1 room. I have to remove items first before I put anything new in. Getting annoying.

I would have no problem paying for extra space with crowns if it came to it.

Just like bank slots, furniture house limits should be at least doubled for every single player.

The two specific housing developers did say on ESO Live just after Homestead was released they would think about this once they had data on how players were decorating/using the space allocation in homes.

We can only hope they're still thinking about it.

I actually came online and logged into these forums with the sole purpose of posting a big long message about the ridiculous furniture item limit. It's way too low.

I've spent a lot of money in the past few months on 4 different houses, but ultimately I've stopped buying crowns because it doesn't matter if it's a large house or small one, I can't complete my vision and make my house spectacular because the item limit is too low.

I'm unhappy with my houses. They feel empty and unfinished. Most of my items have been allocated to correcting the shab and dreary lighting. In my hundings palatial hall at least 200/600 items are lighting (candles, sconces, torches, etc) and it still feels blah.

I would spend more money on crowns/houses if they fixed this. As it stands right now, I feel unsatisfied with my purchases. It's like eating at an expensive restaurant and going home hungry. Decorating a house only halfway is not the experience I was expecting or looking for.

Doubling the furniture limit for all houses across the board would make me happy.
    :)

This is a non-issue until more important issues are fixed/addressed, like lag/performance and the group/dungeon finder for example.

Umm, it IS an issue which is why everyone here has taken the time to leave feedback. The housing situation might be more important to some players than group dungeon finder. It's arrogant of you to state that your issue(s) is/are more important than the rest. That's not your call to make.

If you have an issue with server performance, than post your issues on a separate thread and let ZOS decide how they want to allocate their resources.

To me, a lot of these posts remind me of the saying, "Give an inch, take a mile." No matter how much space ZOS gives, some people will always complain that it's not enough. Clearly, for the majority of players, the current limit is enough... only a very small few find it too restrictive... and I wonder if ZOS could ever make them happy even if they increased it by 100, 200, 500, some players would always find ways to reach that limit and then complain. Just like with inventory space, if ZOS sees that the overwhelming majority of players aren't utilizing the space they already have, they aren't going to devote resources to adding more simply to appease an extreme minority.

This is just not correct. At the moment it is simple not viable to furnish some of the large homes or all of the manors leaving large swathes of blank spaces.

If ZoS want to make gold from players buying houses and furniture from the Crown Store they need to address this issue as its widely discussed by those in game as a barrier to spending more.

To further add to this, it would devalue ESO+ even further. The limit was always about performance... of the bottom line.
