hunting for animal pelts make bad investment time and expensive for weapons upkeep
drop rates are too poor and take hours to refill pelts for crafters.
even so bad for house item crafting. they lagged so far behind with others on house item craftings.
wolves are easy kills but less pelts looted, but bigger game creaures take more time to kill and not worth time in combat for pelts and weapons drained.
Erm.... from launch of Homestead these have been the second cheapest of all the materials because of how easy they are to farm.
Everyone farming XP at locations with animals was getting stacks of them, you can buy full stacks (200) from guild vendors at competitive prices.

Usually the easiest way is the most boring, that's why
PC EU (PL): 14 characters. ESO player since 06.08.2015. Farkas finest quote: "Some people don't think I'm smart. Those people get my fist. But you, I like."
i am fairly new to ESO, was waiting for buddy to mentor and get me in his guild, and i hadnt heard from him in weeks.
so, i had to learn on my own.i stay away from pvp, i barely got 1 allaince skill for speed buff.
i got stuck few quests that seem impossible for solo, and half-way on coldharbor, questline seem broken so i cant get further deep.
yes, i am aware of respawnable mobs in dungeons, only to find out later. personally imho, bigger furry creatures would have more stacks of pelts than small wolves.
harvesting is quiet different than eq2's harvest nodes, and it put NWO to shame, ESO are currently best game even with some flaws, but i dont care, as long it is still fun to play.
