Benefits of Account Linking and Character/Account Transfers
What are the advantages of linking accounts on different platforms? The searches I did came up with a lot of threads about things that account linking doesn't grant access to (crowns, redeemed crown store items, ESO Plus etc) but I can't find any mention of anything I would gain from linking accounts. Could someone please fill me in?
Also, my understanding is that there is no way to transfer character or account from a PC to a PS4 now, is that correct? If it is actually still possible, could someone please explain the process?

✭✭✭✭✭It is about linking PS4/XBOX account with ESO account. Not your PC account with anything else. I believe linking is necessary to play on PS4/XBOX.
Character transfers were a one time deal at console launch and will not come back any time soon (if ever).0
