Whats with all the NB Posts and RIP?

If you look at the forums theres alot of topics on nightblade being dead or just bad/worrysome topics in general.
My question is whats with all the Nightblade worry?
I mean DK and Templars got hit the hardest then why all the nb topics?
Nb barly got touched unless i miss something?

Im asking this because i was making a nb sctrictly for battlegrounds but i feel like dropping it since everyone else is doing that but not sure why?

Worst DPS bring them at last in end game race,

They are not healers, nor tank and now worst DPS!

How? Stam dk is so called viable for trials but stam nb is not? But stam nb does way more damage lol so i dont get it...
Also if stam nb does more damage then stam dk technictly they arnt the worst then.

People can't be bothered to learn how to play them with the new sustain in effect. A lot of players find it too hard to do more then spam 1 or 2 buttons.

Stam NB does not do more damage than stam DK. I assume you watched some target dummy parses where the stamblade had minor beserk 100% uptime because of relentless focus which in a raid situation everyone will have a high combat prayer uptime anyway.

I'd suggest getting into end game raids and seeing for yourself rather than going off inflated solo dps parses on stationary targets

^This. NB's are not as player friendly as other classes... I once tried a Templar, it was ridiculous and disgusting in a way... I deleted him.

NB (whatever stamina or magicka version) is already the worst class in ESO. It is outperformed in every role by other classes:

Dragonknight - best tank role
Templar - best healer role
Sorcerer - best DPS role
Nightblade - best.... ? ? ? doing thieves guild / dark brotherhood quests ?

NB was supposed to have high "single target" focus dmg. But now it is simply bad. And ZOS is going to remove "global" stealth dmg bonus. NB benefits the most from it because most of NB passives has something to do with stealth.

It is just sad to see ZOS can't find anything more to nerf in NB class so they are removing global gameplay mechanics...

I roll NB and i will roll a Warden. I am no Magicka type of player but i save the gear for the alts just in case in the future i wont be able to compete in high end dungeons.

Returning player (played @ release for 2 months) who has tons of fun playing ESO in 2017.

Stam nightblade may have high burst damage but it's damage output over time and survivability are being ridiculously destroyed. You don't find a stam nightblade able to tank more than 3-4 people. But many templars sorcs and dks can. And still be dealing super high damage. While we have to sacrifice all defense to have high enough burst to take someone out. It's not balanced. We have the weakest heals even our execute has to be done at 20% as opposed to 50% for most other notable executes. We have very small damage mitigation. Our only shining light for survival is fear and that only stops 3 people for half a second from wailing on you and our cloak which can be broken out of and negated all too easy by aoe or flares and other armor skills. To be honest we need to be able to do more damage and have more sustain. We are meant to be viable glass cannons and that pisses people off that there was a class that could burst down any ((( 1 ))) player. Now however because people are so against an actual rogue class having high burst with no survival. They put a cap on crit damage in pvp. They made shields be uncritable. And now they are removing bonus crit damage from stealth. So what's the point of playing a rogue now? Am I to be forced to run with a group of players for buffs to be able to do enough damage to kill consistantly? Nightblades used to be something you would worry about running into by yourself. But if you were in a group it wasn't such a problem. They would either die or run away from large conflict. Now it's so bad for nightblades to even kill someone requires them to be at thier most vulnerable state. Yet templars can spear meteor radiant someone to death. Sorcs can still shield stack and bomb a single target with a destro ulti while blasting with crystal shard and a curse. And dks can talons you whip you and dragon leap you. All while a Zerg is trying to kill them. There is no balance. Especially with this patch. Nightblade sustain is going even lower our crit is going lower and our damage is going lower due to champ points changing. So if you can honestly read all this and still say that 1 player being able to burst down a single target is soooo op then you need to try playing a nightblade yourself and see how hard it is. I run my nightblade and while I'm highly skilled at it I watch so many others running metas for other classes barely having to touch thier controller and even think to kill someone

One of our single best abilities was nerfed into the ground.. You missed something.

Magicka Nightblade should've been buffed a bit to be on par with Magicka DK/Templar.

Magicka Sorcerer should've been nerfed to be on par with Magicka DK/Templar.

And Magicka Warden? Well.... they really need buffs. The people saying Magicka NB is the worst DPS are misinformed. Mag Warden is absolutely horrible at DPS.

Another one who talk and don't know anything.

It's in fact people that can do more than spamming 1 or 2 buttons that are complaining because they are getting punished, while people who spam 1 button will do it better than ever.

Please next time you decide to write such nonsense inform yourself a little bit about the new changes incoming.

Let's go back to the OP.

They are just beating a dead horse, Nightblade is dead since One Tamriel but for some reason they are complaining 8 months later, I think is too late now, but hey Twisting Path deals 120 more damage so it's not that bad I guess.

Because NB has been steadily nerfed patch over patch. NB is in the basement of the class tiers and is the most unforgiving class to play even in the current patch; with more nerfs coming in Morrowind.

Yes, every other class is getting hit with nerfs too which closes the gap *some*. However, NB will still be bottom tier class for another patch with how the patch notes stand. It is just disappointing to see a class keep getting beaten on.

Wrobel keeps getting 1vX by Nightblades and DKs, he just wanna do his *** quests, leave him alone or hes gonna delete both classes

but he will able to heal like templar or tank atleast almost like dk? but in 100% warde will be the best offtank than other classes while nb have nothing to tank, nothing to heal and also almost nothing to dps

NBs are the worst at everything in th game atm.

Worst DPS,
Worst Healers and worst tanks.

Also the worst support class, the worst self heal/shield class and the worst for trials.

ZOS might as well issue a warning before you roll one so at least the new players know the deal.

Because we were always VERY dependant on Siphoning Attacks to keep being agressive and block here and there, now that the skill was changed there isnt any strong points in our favor in pvp.
