To be honest, the snide judgement had more to do with it being a medium armor set with a magicka focus, combined with the weapon crit up.
I have no doubt this set appears to do more damage on paper, I'm just not convinced it's actually more effective than even something like Julianos.
Weapons and Jewelry. It's backbar so the 4 piece would never be used, as 4+5 is only on backbar. But i do understand that initial reaction to the set.
Mate, you can throw links at me all you like, I can guarantee I've seen them. Actually if you look at my signature, I released a very high dmg heavy attack build for Update 12. Masel's builds are fine, but they are by no means BiS for what is achievable. Just because it has vMA or vMol, approved.
And what is BiS then? I'd very much like tips if 38k single target is not BiS...

This discussion was about heavy attack builds, and I tested that, it didn't produce more dps than my current setup with UI/BSW/Ilambris. You get the wrong synergy a lot of the times with MD, need to stay on your back bar to get the right synergy or work at least a full rotation cycle with the wrong MD buff with regen you don't need and minor slayer doesn't make up for that.
Make a video with more than 38k dps on a dummy and I'll believe you
