Flamedrowner wrote: »Hello,
there seems to be a "/feedback" - functionality, which is not available for console players. Therefore I was asked by support to leave my feedback here in the forum.
This is a little confusing since my feedback is extremely negative. So I'd like to ask if the community rules don't apply to me in this case?
Presumably I'd violate the following:
General harsh criticism concerning support (no naming)
Protests, Demands and Threats
Quitting Threads
I thought the right adress for a possible mutual solution would be support, but from my perspective I feel treated disrespectfully to such an extend, that I already declared to fight the company an its product(s) as best as I can.
I already told this to them, but nevertheless they asked me to leave my feedback here.

I am trying to understand this right, but what I am reading you were trying to make inventory space by selling items, then re-buying them from a NPC Merchant?
If so, yes, I believe the max item limit is around ~12 rebuys of the last items you sold to that NPC.
ESO has a banker inventory, have you visited a banker to drop off excess items yet?
I did read that you've submitted a ticket. But please reread what I said.
Submitting another ticket opens up an entirely new case. You can have fifty different reps talking to you right now, but it's still the same case. You can get lucky by opening up a new case and start all over. Heck, as soon as you get the same response, drill em with another case to handle.

"All it would have taken is warning message like "If you sell one more item to the dealer, you will lose the rebuy-option of the oldest sold item."
But instead, I was frequently told (on PS4) that the dealer has a rebuy-option - especially when selling blue stolen goods to the receiver...

And I didn't expect the game to be close to unplayable without Plus, if you have the slightest interest in crafting.

The purpose of the buy back function is generally to protect you from misclicks and such. It isn't meant to be used as temporary storage, that's what the bank is for. I've never heard of anyone having this problem before, it seems to me that not selling valuable items to a vendor is just common sense. While this situation is very unfortunate, I think it's mainly user error. Hardly a reason to quit the game. Still, it would be nice of support to restore your items anyway, seeing as you're a new player and not very familiar with how the game works.

This is not game feedback, it's just you complaining about not understanding the function of simple mechanics.
Your "hundreds" of hours of mats could be bought cheaply and quickly if you figure out how to earn gold effectively.
Support is not paid to fix human errors. Don't think of them as a safety net. Don't think you can do whatever like deleting characters then cry to support you want them back. It won't happen.
Gl and cheers!
And get another annoying message every time you want to vendor your stuff? Because once you hit that limit once, you'd get the message every time you vendor an additional item.
thankfully the knowledge you have now simply cost a few cool pixels...don't let it become a defining point in the game for you...make it a point to enjoy yourself...happiness is almost always the best revenge...
@Flamedrowner ...
just had a thought - did this occur right after the recent maintenance update?
it's been awhile - but, I've noticed a couple of times in the past that right after "updates" the merchants "buy back" items have vanished...
