What things you wished you would of know sooner!

* Don't heal in heavy amour for pve

* Pets have controls - took nearly a year

* Overcharges wear flags...

* grocer sells recipes for crafting writs

* Potatos spawn in a dugoen in bangoraki

    @Tasear The heal for heavy armor? Surprised don't DPS with heavy armor. Healing in heavy makes u survive more and get better resources when heavy attacking.

    I wish I knew that mobs don't crit you in dungeons, so healing pledges in 5 Transmutation is/was pointless xD When I found this out I felt so dumb, but I had no idea, so I had to change my healer build. I'm doing much better now in 5 Spell Power Cure ;D

    Guild vendors can be accessed at any almost every bank .

    I can't tell you how many times I rode all the way to the vendor location to sell ...

    I think ZOS should add short info in pet abilities tooltip how to control them. Would be useful especially for new players.

    I was amazed when I could use my mouse's forward button to switch bars, rather than the ~ key....

    Pet controls... my favorite is to use Daedric Prey (morph of Daedric Curse) which not only functions as a "sic 'em" command, but boosts pet (and summoned atronach) damage.

    OTOH, Roo (my Altmer Sorc's Twilight Matriarch) has this habit of if there is no action near the party, she will wander off and pick a fight with whoever she can find. Playing on Skype with my friends, sometimes the warning of this will be that Roo starts humming (which will often generate one of the other players saying something like "uh-oh, she's bored").
    Tenesi Faryon of Telvanni - Dunmer Sorceress who deliberately sought sacrifice into Cold Harbor to rescue her beloved.
    Hisa Ni Caemaire - Altmer Sorceress, member of the Order Draconis and Adept of the House of Dibella.
    Broken Branch Toothmaul - goblin (for my goblin characters, I use either orsimer or bosmer templates) Templar, member of the Order Draconis and persistently unskilled pickpocket
    Mol gro Durga - Orsimer Socerer/Battlemage who died the first time when the Nibenay Valley chapterhouse of the Order Draconis was destroyed, then went back to Cold Harbor to rescue his second/partner who was still captive. He overestimated his resistance to the hopelessness of Oblivion, about to give up, and looked up to see the golden glow of atherius surrounding a beautiful young woman who extended her hand to him and said "I can help you". He carried Fianna Kingsley out of Cold Harbor on his shoulder. He carried Alvard Stower under one arm. He also irritated the Prophet who had intended the portal for only Mol and Lyris.

    Order Draconis - well c'mon there has to be some explanation for all those dragon tattoos.
    House of Dibella - If you have ever seen or read "Memoirs of a Geisha" that's just the beginning...
    Nibenay Valley Chapterhouse - Where now stands only desolate ground and a dolmen there once was a thriving community supporting one of the major chapterhouses of the Order Draconis

    That ZOS hates NB and in the future there will be only nerfs to that class...
    Otherwise I would not pick NB for my main character back in 2014...

    My guildmaster only fairly recently twigged that cp's are accountwide. For 2 years or more, he was playing his alts with no cp's on even though he had them available! He commented: "I've been playing in hard mode all this time!" :D

    The only thing I wish I knew sooner was that DC alliance is the best.

    So that I didn't have to delete half my roster a year ago because I had some EP and AD chars that were 60/60/60 in mount training...

    Don't go crown store shopping either.

    One night I was enjoying a few beverages while doing a ton of dungeons, I got so annoyed at trying to disperse my inventory so I could continue playing (since deconstructing stuff during beverage nights isn't smart either...) and woke up to a new character slot from the crown store, with a terribly ugly (obviously just "random" button) new character.

    You can get from one campaign to another in IC saving tel vars and not risking being ganked/zerged.

    You don't, in the next date pets will attack whomever you heavy attacked.

    There is no controlling pets on console yet.

    I wish I would have known from day one that one day I would have enough skill points on one character to do all the craftings plus have all the fighty and whatever skills I want. My six craft skill are broken out among 3 characters, and I'm just too lazy to do it all again.

    Well... looking back... I just played the game how I wanted/thought it worked. Didn't look up guides on anything. Just played like it was a single player game. Throw some points into magicka here or a few in stamina there. One day I was curious about why some critters were so hard to kill. Googled=Enlightened. Needless to say instantly swapped stats to stamina. Granted back in the early days we didn't have many stamina morphs. Not that I remember.

    u mean sorc summon pets right? (wich i knew)
    before i gonna try for non combat pets

    what i found out way to late was, in dark brotherhood, in sacrament that when it says with posion it could be done with blade of woe when posion was equipped ( i thought it ment with normal wapons with posion)

    Well I just learnt this. And I was looking for them in trade guilds. I have been playing for over a year hahahaha

    My thing I wish I had known sooner:

    * You can level up all skills all the same time. I came from playing WoW and I thought you had to decide a sub-class, so I only leveled up the siphoning skills on my NB for weeks haha
