Why do people quit dungeons when removed?

Every time this garbage activity finder decides to group you - take you to the dungeon - then remove you (for some reason) why do people leave the group???

All you have to do is travel back there. So stupid.

Then the rest of the players are forced to leave or wait forever because when that happens the finder glitches out and will not replace anyone.

Just travel back to the dungeon - it's that fricking simple.

Some people think they should get a optimal group with the activity finder . They're lose as every group I've ever joined always completed the dungeon .

Oh boy do I know that feeling. It won't even let you queue for replacement lol. In their defence, sometimes when it happens it bugs out completely and doesn't remember the dungeon you were in so if, for example, you were queued for random you might as well drop because you aren't getting random reward even if you do port back in. It doesn't happen every time but maybe they think it does after getting burnt on that, or just want to be safe.

Either they don't know they can manually enter or they're trying to get Random Dungeon credit which often bugs and gives no credit when your group is kicked.

As said above, when the glitch happens and your info tells you 'queued' rather than 'in progress' you need to quit. Otherwise you don't get the XP.
It's really annoying that ZOS can't get this fixed. It was working reasonably well until Homestead patch. Why have their repair efforts actually resulted in the system getting worse?!?

As other's mentioned, if they were there to get random normal (or vet), then they won't get their bonus if it bugs out.

    Really annoying bug.
Make PC NA raiding great again!

    Down with drama!

It happens to me so much that I almost wish they would just reduce the 15 minute penalty. ESPECIALLY if they aren't going to fix it.

So tired of being penalized for something that is out of my control and is an issue ZOS just refuses to address

@ZOS_GinaBruno can we please at least get the penalty removed or have you all address this known issue.

Even if I get kicked - which happens too - I'm penalized for a bug in the game. Not for something I did.

When I see that group funder is bugged again and it's porting us out, I'm just writing on group chat "port from map", just in case some of them was going to leave the group :D

Usually it is the tank or healer and they quit when they see something like a combination of a cp30 and cp180 dps. I really don't blame them. Statistically speaking, they are better off waiting the 15 min than rolling the dice on a group that will probably be garbage. Since the que for healers and tanks is usually instant it is not much of a gamble. As for what happens to the group members left. That hardly matters to them.

Basically, it just comes down to experience, statistics, and a little selfishness on the part of the players leaving. ZOS has added both the equivalent of government subsidies (using group finder is something like a 30% power boost) and also punishments (15 min timer for leaving formed group) but it hasn't been enough to keep the risk pool from becoming toxic. Sure it might be better than a certain risk pool in a certain countries healthcare system but it is still pretty toxic. See, look at how much you can learn about how the world works playing an MMO.
I am currently worried for the future of ESO. Population seems like it is in free fall and the cancellation of the North America in-person gathering feels very much like pulling the plug. Kudos on fixing the in-game economy though. Clearly whatever gold shenanigans were happening the last couple years are fixed.

That's not what this is about.

It's the porting in - when your group gets in it immediately says removing from instance or whatever.

Ppl just autoleave. CP isn't an issue with that.

Yeah if I jump into a (insert random dungeon II) and see super low levels then I'll at least wait to see what they can do.

All of my group did all the Vet Dungeons sub300cp way back.

Elitism though of jumping into a dungeon and leaving just because you're 600cp is just a D move in my opinion.

Got into a dungeon with some elitist smug guys and we got all the way to the end and they wanted to boot the cp130 guy. Told them we can do this and told the low level dude what to do. What do you know - we beat the thing without him dying once.

But the bigger issue are the people that auto quit just because they don't realize they can travel back to the dungeon.

You must be new here. Whenever ZoS try's to fix something they ALWAYS make it worse first. Occasionally they'll even break something totally irrelevant to the issue they were trying to fix! It's an endless cycle.

Nah, if it was 1 or 2 ppl leaving group, the activity finder should/would just queue replacements instead of removing from dungeon.

What does happen is, activity finder creates a group, loads you into the dungeon, you spawn, then there's the "removing from dungeon". You can just port back unless it's your random daily, in which case it's likely you will not receive you reward if you do.

    It's broken and frustrating.

Just to reiterate, this is a bug issue and not a player attitude issue. See below

random dungeon credit is what i look for... 100k xp to do on 5 chars, some people have to do more ... and with a limited time window after work,

    Really annoying bug.

Just a heads up, even if it kicks you out of the dungeon, you generally are able to still get the daily xp bonus if the group finder says "in progress" and you manually port back into the dungeon.

Though sometimes it truly bugs out and doesn't even show the "in progress" but rather "queued", that's when the xp bonus isn't there at all.

I'm sure you knew this but just putting it out there for those that might not.

Many of the new school Pups don't realise you even can travel to a dungeon directly, it's activity finder or bust

Hell I remember the days of running around to FIND the dungeons was cool. And people hanging outside to make groups
