✭✭✭✭I love to play as a tank or healer, but those characters are significantly weaker than DPS when you want to enjoy content other than Dungeons/Trials. I hate how ESO pushes you towards DPS all the time.
Edit: I mainly hate that VMA strongly encourages you to create DPS builds. Some of the levels can be unforgiving if you want a bulkier build that kills enemies slower.Edited by GrumpyDuckling on May 2, 2017 12:14PM5 -

✭Damage DealerPersonally torn between deeps and heals. By deeps I mean proper deeps (50k+) and by heals I mean proper group support (Shards/Orbs/Drain with decent PotL/Warhorn/Prayer/SPC uptime and WoE for Exploiter etc.).
Difficulty-wise I'd arguably place it like this: 50k+ DPSer > healer > tank > just DPSer
(Healer is also #1 to blame for tank not taunting and 1-shoted DD standing in stupid.)

The priest (Templar) is the best class. It is obvious. After all, in the game, almost all enemies are psychopaths, demons and walking dead.
This is the most versatile class.
I can play in an aggressive manner, but I can be gentle. That is not a robot DK , which only breaks everything.

As healer or ...tank I suppose, you are a leader for the group. As to say you must understand how others works, how to guide them, while healing, buff, and debuff emiemes. It's always intresting
Made a tank to see how others heal, though sometimes it's fun to feel like a boss.

But i especially love to play as a Healer, i am kinda addicted to run group dungeons and doing stuff like that (as a Healer i dont need to wait so long for that, win win situation i guess).
Mostly random, because i also want to help newbies and i love challenges.
even though it can be really stressing to get all the hate when the light-attack bow spamming DD is always dying in vet dungeons because he doesnt know how to dodge, stands behind me or to avoid red circles and insults me >_>

✭TankI like tanking because normally I can set the pace in fights, also allows me to play hybrid builds without penalties. It's fun to support the grope. Also you get that epic feeling of have enemies face to face. IT'S MANLY!2 -
Sinolai✭✭✭✭✭TankI like tanking as you have to do more than just sit back and smash buttons as fast as you can. I keep an eye on powerful enemies and pull them away from my weak and helpess DDs and Healer and watch the enemy movement to bash them when they try to hurt me or my team.
It also doesn't require sticking to meta so much and use exactly the one and only skills and items, as long as you are able to take the hits and do your stuff.wow im surprised to see all the tanks on this poll - where are you all when queueing for random dungeons?
Sadly, when I started the game I made a Breton sorcerer that is good for nothing but PDS
