accidentally I saw this thread while I was searching some ideas for a magicka based sap nightblade and it caught my interest.
I just have some difficulty to decide with which set I would like to combine it and could need some advises.

The build will be more damage focused and less than to be the tank .. maybe as off-tank ... but I would like to use it more to farm solo pve content and a sufficient and fast way.

I am playing an imperial which doesnt seem to have the availability to reach high magicka pools. Furthermore I am playing to go the way of a vampire for sneak bonus and additional regen.

I will also run a monster set. I didnt decided yet but 2 possible choices would be Valkyn Skoria or Nerien'eth. I guess Nerien'eth might have a larger uptime and more damage at the end or isn't it?

As some guys already mentioned in the post above, available combinations might be:
BC + Kagrenac's Hope:
This combination will provide overall 2128 health, 1934 magicka, 967 stamina, 129 magicka regeneration and 224 spell power. The half of the 5 piece bonus is useless.

BC + Law of Julianos:
This combination will provide overall 1064 health, 1934 magicka, 967 stamina, 1376 spell crit and 299 spell damage.

BC + Twice-Born Star:
This combination will provide overall 2128 health, 1934 magicka, 1934 stamina. The only benefit would be to be able to use 2 mundus stones. As I am more focused on damage I would choose the apprentice for spell damage and the shadow for spell crit.

And exactly here is the problem. I never played with TBS and I am also not that deeply into theory-crafting. But on the paper it might be possible that TBS will out-wide Julianos if divine traits will be used which would be fine for me. As I said I am interested in mainly damage and not in tanking as main tank.

BC + Kag seems like an allrounder for classes / races with resource issues which should not be the case for nightblades due to siphoning attacks.

What do you think about?


Btw: Did ever someone considered to use Serpent's Spirit together with BC? Okay the raw stats are a bit meh like TBS but the proc of 5 piece sets could be really handy together. Any ideas?

Sap tanking isn't even worth it this patch.
