I broke a VMA staff recently while it was locked I mite add.
1.You lose the heavy & light tick for a fact.
2. The spell damage still shows up on tool tip but I'm about 100% certain it's a error. I tested it and the spell damage does not apply to abilities.
I guess if you have extra gold ones *** it do what u wanna , everyone earns their own.

You lose it all.
The weapon/spell damage bonus still being there in your character sheet is only a visual bug, it's not actually increasing your DPS.

This must be a bug though? I can swear i have read specific information from ZoS, stating that reenchanting a vMSA weapon will remove the special Enchant, but NOT the extra spell damage. It would also not make any sense otherwise, since the Spell Damage is a Set Bonus, and NOT an actual enchant. It is only the special named effect, that is considered an enchant.
Now that i think about it, it might have been in some patch notes that i saw this, so the bug might have been fixed now?
OP - if you have spare, i would encourage you to try it out. Even though people here might be right, this might also have been fixed by now, and people are repeating old content / bugs.
