What happened to signature customization?

I had different colored text and other custom features in my signature but now they're gone. I've noticed that several other user's signatures received the same treatment. Did the forum's bbcode support get nerfed?

✭✭Yeah looks like it has had colour and other format options turned off, that's a shame
I know a lot of people hated colourful signatures. But there is an option to hide signatures in your profile section.
