Good day all. With this new patch and the nerf to proc sets, I am just wondering what everyone else is doing with their stamDK. I am running 6 heavy 1 medium sword and board two hander.

Wondering if anyone is going medium or if they are staying heavy. Personally it's about the mag Regen more than anything that I keep heavy.

I have been flipping between Ravager, Seventh legion, Knights Errant, Black Rose, and Fury to see which set performs best for me, and pairing them with hulking draguar.

Finally what monster set are you using. I have been flipping between Selene, bloodspawn and Tremorscale. Selene procs alot on sword and board and hits pretty hard. But the snare really helps alot from Tremor. And bloodspawn helps to set up the burst faster.

The problem I have with Ravager is if I'm playing defensive it doesn't proc and veiled does for heals. However it's only 5 seconds. While Ravager is 10 and will probably be active while I'm trying to execute...

I usually play in 6-12 groupd and im orc for the speed passive. I go for speed and focus healers. I use 5 red mountain, 5 fiord which 5 piece is back bar for major expedition. Monster I go selenes or bloodspawn for the ult. Im two hand and dual wield for blade cloak for speed.

The build is all medium and is squishy. The sustain is decent. Being orc, the focus of the build is to pressure healers that are usually vamps (red mountain is flame dmg) Some magplars are two tanky but I get trolpars to run around which reducers the quality of their heals to wipe the group.

Some things im thinking. I might go bloodspawn as they are removing cp for now. The extra ult will help with stam.

I might try furry to proc redmountain more often. Dont know yet! Again, i try to fit a specific role.

Anyone else using medium? I might also use hircines to help group with sustain when cp is gone.

What do you mean they are removing CP?

Also I've been thinking about going medium. But it's the magicka that keeps me on heavy.

I have been running 5 Black Rose 5 viper 2 tremorscale/selenes. Still a top tier build for dueling. I have tried fury but couldn't really see alot of extra damage.

@cpuScientist only in pvp for a period starting next weekend. The devs want to see if cp is the cause of lag. The group i roll with went to azuras and still had plenty of lag lol

Id like to try out heavy at one poiny, just to not be squishy.

I run a Alchemist/Viper (various monster sets) it's been more challenging since the patch.
There are more abilities going through block now... the magicka enhancements have led to more CC issues... EOS spam has become extreamily rough I'm blowing through stam to stay alive and forced to Roll dodge out of it...
Our leap is weaker then our magicka counterpart... remember flame is +20% on vamps plus they have much easier way to empower the leap... I can sit here and list so many unintended buffs that left us in a MEH STATE....

I'm hoping the Stam DK get something after the next patch considering we have only two Stam abilities....

Yeah I'm thinking it's not the CP but the population, I mean on Xbox at least all campaigns are empty accept scourge really. If everyone's on the same campaign I figure that's the reason for lag, mass amounts of abilitys being cast.

I have just switched to Stamina DK this past patch and I'm thoroughly enjoying it. I was magicka tank in both pve and pvp for a long time. practically since early release. I couldnt kill anything, i even went light armor to try and eek out more dps in pvp and it was just not an overall good experience.

with my current build, i feel competitive in duels (but i still get creamed by really experienced players) and im not having much survivability issues in Cyro overworld.

the sets i run are: 5Hundings, 3 Robust Agility, 1 Velidreth, 1 Kena, 1 Vampire's Kiss (this is a rando weapon slot and irrelevant to anything, i just wanted to RP a bit and get the set called vampires kiss)

i have around 1100 stam regen, and 3892 weapon dmg buffed with major brute

Its a real fun playstyle. i do miss being magicka - the survival and skill synergy is some of the best in game, but Stam is kinda where my heart took me this patch so here i am.

Atm it's really lack luster, if you ran a combo of proc sets sDK is powerful but its been adjusted and not all sDKs run proc sets.

Now we are stuck with just two dots....

I ran hulking draguar last patch, so I'm more or less the same. It's a really fitting set on StamDK. Adds good damage and great sustain. I ran it with black rose last patch. But I'm finding I want a little more umph this patch.

I could go a weird setup of 5 clever alchemist back bar, with 5 knight errants front bar and a master sword. So every damn puncture heals the hell out of me lol, and I still get a good set for back bar. That or 5 sword singer back bar to empower my execute and my gap closer, and rally heal.

Stam DK is about finding a play style that works for you. After trying many set combos, I've just started running 5 black rose all the time for sustain, then 5 clever alchemist on SB and 4 on 2H and 2pc bloodspawn/Selenes. I've only seen CA set run on gank builds (Sypher also has one). It's a massive amount of weapon damage fully buffed nearly 4K. Proc is in your control which works well with immov potions or regen boosters. You can proc while on the defense or prior to rushing in. Build is also decently tanky. With well timed abilities against your average group you can really hold out or draw their attention. Then when help arrives you switch to offensive. The way I'm running glyphs and max stam/health food I've got 28k health and stam and 11k magicka. This goes higher if we're holding more keeps. I'm not honestly sure why I don't see CA run in more sets it's the/one of the strongest proc in the game. Unproced with buffs you still get 2.7k wpn damage which isn't even that bad. This is all in Azuras btw.

I think this would be cool if your SB bar was your main damage bar. That way ur getting the heals from knights errant SB skills as well.

It is for me atleast. It works well last patch. Now knights errant doesn't CRIT and the heal is miniscule. I am getting home pirates tatters and I have zero clue what else now. Because I need to switch to my 2 hander being the damage bar. Don't need Hulking with bone pirates...

This is old now, it has anyone tried running draugr and bone pirates just for kicks?

Yeah but they killed the reason you would want this in the upcoming patch. Since helping hands doesn't give stam back based on max stam this combo is no longer good.

I was trying ravagers+fury but that was garbage. my friend turned me on to fury+werewolf hide on my backbar which I have enjoyed quite a bit. I use bloodspawn too so I can leap often. I agree that fury doesnt give as much damage as I would like to see, and I hope to try ravagers+viper soon
ask me about Bruma Bratz, the citizens barracks for the people of Bruma, Cropsford, and Vlastarus. For the people, by the people!

I have been experimenting with seventh legion viper and tremor. Also been trying seventh legion and ravager. I get my ultimate often but I'm thinking of running bloodspawn instead of tremor and seeing if I have comparable damage. I use sword and board front bar btw.
