Well I wasn't going to jump to conclusions without knowing them or their channel, this did come to mind though.

Seemed a very cop-out review/inform with a lot of (self admitted) speculation and lack of testing.

I mean the five hours line he says "In hardcore player time it's probably like five" not that it took him five hours, or that it is five hours he's assuming hardcore players can clear it in five.
Now granted if you're spamming through the quests and using add-ons to find all skyshards it might be only five hours, but I don't think that's how developers gauge game time.

The Warden class "how in depth can I get without putting in significant time into the beta" then proceeds to basically repeat the forums hyperbole and make assumptions.
So he's stating he's not invested the time to check it out, but will tell you it's OP. Where's we've had players with large followings and reputations who have tested it and have (with the limited speech NDA gives them) that it's not as bad as everyone thinks and sure isn't OP.

As you said I am sure the masses will buy into this, those who want to believe it or reinforce their views will take it as fact, whilst those who have tested things or are more rational will take the time to look for more in depth focus reviews.

And if the zone/quests are that much bigger than orsinium as Zos indicated - and you play the overland zone for the story/quests/exploration - well, that's a LOT more than 5 hours too...

But ofc. if you just go to Vvardenfell to sit in the public dungeon or something and grind a new warden to 50 with xp pots/trainee gear etc. and do nothing else with the xpac. well, yeah.. 5 hrs of 'content' right there.. But even so, you'll still be playing that newly-ground warden, right?

I have followed the Hive Leader for years and I am a huge fan of his personal style. But, one should take whatever he says lightly. He aims to entertain before he informs, and he is good at it. How he is not a bigger youtuber is beyond me.

I would advise future Hive Leader fans to not take things so seriously

Maybe he means PvP. For serious PvE you could name your Warden character also:

"was-kicked-for-a-templar-healer-in-Halls-of-Fabrication"
"Jack-of-all-Trades-who-can't-do-anything-right"
