I find a world of difference with respect to the ease of leveling and survivability as Sorcerer.

I am nearly invincible against trash/regular/quest/x number of mobs.... and even pretty tough to own in duel.

Nightblades are in serious need for some buffs or something...I could be wrong ofc seeing I have not maxed out my NB but my gut instinct says that the NB toon will not magically become better at max level when compared to Sorc.

I know the feeling.

When playing Nightblade I am hunched forward in my seat, intently focused on the screen with the rest of the world blocked out of existence because every button press is critical.

When playing Sorcerer I lean back in my chair with my feet up, listen to my partner recap her day, and simply relax. Haha this has made me realize how much better Sorcerer is for my health.

That would be awesome in PVE. I'd love for all my classes to be as easy going in dungeons as my magicka sorcerer. In PVP I would probably get frustrated though. Right now I just avoid sorcerers, but any other class I feel comfortable to compete with in their current state.

I feel you man. Best example to show NB needs love:
I have a NB main, lv 50 champion over 100, donned with set pieces (not the best, but still a boost), and what used to be the meta-skills in those days.
I also have (well, had) a lv 13 sorc (now 20), donned with random armor from random mobs and loot (only a few set items) and with regular skills that are meant for levelling up the class' skills, so no real meta build.

With both of these characters, I duelled with a friend (DK, probably had something to do with it) who just started the game. I had no problem taking him down with the sorc, but I couldn't even get his health below 90% with my NB. I know this is because of the whole One Tamriel thing, but seriously, the guy went for a DPS built, slithly tanky.

Show us poor Nightblades some love.

Magblade healers are actually in a pretty good place headed into the next patch. The Orbs change was great for us.

I don't mind the power of Sorcs, I don't want them nerfed, I want others buffed. The Nightblade won (or lost) a recent forum poll for the worst class. They don't do anything better than anyone else. In the PTS they even lose their niche as a stealth ambusher/guerrilla fighter with the loss of stealth bonus crit damage. Well what else do they do? They can maybe speed burst 1 opponent before they are zerged into the ground, and that is if they are running BiS and a perfect build. Otherwise their dps isn't more powerful than other classes survival, and other classes DPS is right up there or better to boot. They don't have the heals to win face to face, nor shields. So my question is, what does the Nightblade actually bring to the table now that other classes don't do better? Their movement speed in stealth is even getting nerfed down, so scouting isn't even still their niche.

ZOS just press the delete button on NBs

You practically have already made them completely useless in PVE and PVP should just DELETE them

So many salty ZOS employees got ganked is my theory

problem with nighblades (and I say that as someone who mains a stamblade and saw the same world of difference between a sorc and a nighblade leveling) is that as weak as they are in pve... they have RIDICULOUS burst in pvp. and Zos doesn't seem to be able to figure out how to nerf THAT without completely destroying nightblades for everything outside of stealth ganking. and they still haven't really nerfed that either.

nightblade balancing is sorely needed. something that will make them not such a pain to solo/do group pve content on, while still keeping them balanced for pvp.

honestly IMO? they should just make animation canceling impossible, but... I doubt it would happen for multiple reasons
