I would like to see skyshards account wide. Other than that, I don't mind training mounts on different characters, but I would like to be able to pay for the actual training on ONE character so I don't have to switch/relog.

yes to mounts, bags, possibly shards. no to quests. achievements... depends. I would LOVE for titles to be account wide. dyes are already accountwide, so why not titles? otherwise? since i actualy enjoy questing - I have no problem with them being per character.

what I would absolutely LOVE but is unlikely to happen is for motifs to be accountwide. then again, given how much of my income comes from selling off motifs i already know on my main.... maybe not :P

edited. I say that as someone who maxed horses on 3 different character, is close to maxing out the forth and well on the way with 5 and 6. same goes for bag space. yes I spent a LOT of gold on those. I also spent original gold mount prices in WoW on most of my alts and then they were reduced to pittance. its STILL a good change. for people who may have stayed away from alts. for people just starting out. etc

For horse research I know a lot of people say they won't because it's a gold sink, but there are better gold sinks they could come up with.

With that said if they want horse training to be a gold sink they should just make it so that you only have to pay the time on one character, but alts can just pay the gold and not have to wait.

This would actually make horse training a better gold sink because it's going to actually take a significant amount of gold out of the economy right away instead of just a little at a time.

This is the best of both worlds and won't require many alterations to the game.

No, because if I create a new character I want to start as a really new one and not as a character that has all skills/shards.
I want to "feel" the world of Tamriel again. That includes all quests. Everything. I want to have the chance to do it all again if I want to.

I still enjoy watching how my characters improve over time and quests.

Mounts yes, I don't care how much I've spent on them in the past, they're awful on new characters. Skyshards, maybe. I've never got them all on any toon, but it is kinda fun going into delves to get them. Achievements I could care less about.

Ideally I don't want to see any anything account-wide, including CPs and dye unlocks etc, but I accept that the system is as it is.

Making everything account-wide might save a bit of time and effort for those who just want a different toon at cap for endgame but it would destroy the whole basis of playing alts for those who enjoy leveling individual characters fully through the game with no regard for endgame.

If you're going to make everything in the OP's list (plus achievements which is the usual request) account-wide then you may as well go the whole hog and make all xp account-wide as well.

If people with at least one capped character want additional capped characters instantly then instead of having everything account-wide I'd rather they were able to spend a decent sum in the Crown Store on appropriate tokens and leave the rest of us to play the game.

Seriously. They only people who don't want this to happen are sweaty weird role play people who think that their characters are all unique individuals with different back stories. Everything should be account bound. Skills, skyshards, quests. All of it.
