New player - dps question.

So I'm pretty new to the game. Please note I play on Xbox one.
Ok a dreaded stam blade. I'm just curious about dps now after reading some posts here. How much dps should I be doing typically?
I'm CP 251. Stam blade - bow and daggers. Currently running velidreth set and 5 piece hundings rage. Then I have 3 agility jewelry and the rest night mothers.
I run the rotation of volley, trap, poison arrow, rending slashed and bloodthirst and repeat until killers blade takes priority. Of course I use the assassinariin buff too, but this is a quite run down.
I do in training dummy's about 16k dps and 20k with a dragon knight taunting and buffing.
Anywho I just hope I'm headed in the right direction. I know it may be hard to base info off of what I said. Let me know if any more details are needed.

Azyle1✭✭✭✭✭Best I can say is , learn animation cancelling . Other than that , go check out Tamriel Foundry for builds and rotations . For CP 250 , 20k DPS isn't that bad but can be better with correct build and rotation .

Is your gear all divines? are you running 7 med or a 5/1/1 ?
Single target Kraghs should outperform velidreth on a dummy but velidreth is much nicer when dealing with trash and i imagine you will want to do vMA very soon to get your sharpened daggers/axe so rapid strikes gives your dots more damage.0 -

7 Med. Mostly divines with an infused here and there.
Question. Should I go for NMG and Spriggian? Need a suggestion on my second set if I don't use Hunding's Rage. Was considering Toothrow and I guess NMG, but is that bad?Edited by Azyle1 on April 24, 2017 3:32AM0 -

in v Maelstrom arena the mobs wont have the same kind of armor to make spriggans as useful.
NMG can benefit other stam users while spriggans only helps you.
and over penetrating their armor is worthless so yeah depends on your group etc.

Youre not mistaken but the difference between NMG and hundings is so minimal as to almost not be worth the mats.
Also the meta build right now for Stam users and probably will continue to be, twice fanged serpent 5 pc. This can be farmed from normal trials so perfectly doable at 250cp. Also, gold weapons will add some dps. Purple armor/jewelry is fine.Edited by Vapirko on April 24, 2017 5:12AM0 -
Azyle1✭✭✭✭✭I picked up Spriggian and am using Hundings.
It certainly increased my dps. Now unbuffed, I'm pulling about 19K dps on a target dummy.0 -

You dont need Toothrow.
NMG / Kragh's / Agility + random sharp daggers - and run AA and Helra for VO jewelry, weapons and body pieces.
gold your weapons
Then
5 pc NMG / 2 pc Kragh's / 5 pc VO - run Sanctum for 2-fang body pieces
gold your weapons
Then
5 pc 2-fang / 2pc Veli / 5 pc VO (or 3pc with agi weapons if you dont get sharp VO/fang weapons)
gold your weapons
run Maelstrom to farm sharp daggers / axe / bow
Then
5 pc 2 fang / 3 pc VO / 2 pc Velidreth / Maelstrom Dagger, Maelstrom Axe, Maelstrom Bow.
gold out everything.

Yep i was just making a suggestion for basic gear thats easy to obtain.
If hes running normal trials should definitely get TFS 5 piece and VO jewellery.0 -
