A question regarding magicka spells that you convert into stamina abilities...

DoctorAlcatraz
If I convert a spell that uses magicka ex the spell teleport strike into ambush which uses stamina, will it still count as a spell and benefit from spell crit/spell damage or will it count as an ability that benefits from weapon crit/damage?

Anything that costs stamina will scale from Weapon critical change, weapon damage, physical penetration and max stamina, CP in the Ritual tree, etc. etc.

No, it will use weapon crit and weapon power.

General rule is if it costs stamina it uses weapon crit/damage and if it costs magicka it uses spell crit/damage.

Edit: This can be seen as the skill should say "physical damage" rather than "magic damage"

That's a rule to keep in mind, appreciate it!
