I can't stand how different are furnishing textures, especially Altmer compared to Redguard. I try not to ask why 'high' Altmer culture provides so rough wooden furniture with so simple not to say primitive shapes, but I ask for equal texturing quality:

Agree. Many times I don't place furnishings in my home if they have ugly, low resolution textures. Altmer furniture is good example.

Yeah those textures on that Altmer piece look terrible in comparison.

Mostly I want textures to be better, especially when it seems to be blurish. I like furniture in ESO, and yes, Redguard furniture is well-made and stylish (and there are more types of it - sofas for example). Well, it would be great to see some adjustments for other styles.

They look similar on my $10 monitor.

Maybe the devs have the same model I have.

If I'm not mistaken, these particular redguard furniture was added later in the game with the release of Hew's Bane, which is why it has better textures.
The altmer cabinets are base game assets.

You can also see this difference in quality between the old classic race armour/weapon styles, and the new ones that were added later.

I wish old amour/weapon/furniture assets would get an overhaul, as I love the bosmer style, but hate the low rez textures.

Texture filtering is awful to begin with, seems like a limitation set by the engine. I wonder if there's a way to reduce/remove the pop-up low res textures?

Main issue is that the wood texture is way too small / zoomed in, think doll house stuff.

Look at the rough furniture, its look pretty realistic for furniture made out of old planks slabbed together.
The Altmer stuff is bug report level stuff.

Yes, old textures looks terrible not only for Altmer stuff. But when we're supposed to buy, learn and craft purple blueprint for Altmer winged dresser, armorie, bookcase or bookshelf - quite a loss of materials! - I'm shocked. So much gold and mats - only for that.... piece of rough wood? I really hope someone in ZOS will notice and hear us)
Of cource quality makes difference only for high-resolution monitors and settings, but I still want old textures to be improved.
Poor High Elves, by the way, even their clothes - I mean light armour - looks rough with all that ugly stitches. Especially compared to new elaborated and glamorous styles such as Trinimak and so on. Orcs can do delicate work. Altmers - nope.

There's a lot of furniture with low quality texture that look really bad.

This Coldharbour urn needs an upgrade.
