Yesterday i went in pts and made a relatively good magicka nightblade build. And started dueling and doing bgs. All was good i would win fights and loose fight, but never felt like i had no chance against some one. Untill this dude showed up. Stamina nightblade he had so much damage potential that i would not even have time to prepare my burst... his incap/ heavy attack and surprise attack would take 70 % of my hp. And when i managed to do damage to him his health would not even move.

I aked him about his build and he said that he is running an op set. But did not really say what he is running. He also said he is not tanky. Can any one help me to Crack the mistery and explain how should i approach a fight like that as a magblade?
THE CAVELRY HAS ARRIVED! Cav is a professional magblade, (in his not so professional opinion). He is immortal and is fighting for the Pact since 2E 572, amidst the turmoil of the Second Akaviri Invasion. He protects the provinces of Skyrim, Morrowind and Black Marsh.

Any good NB with the incap/heavy/surprise attack takes 70% or more health from the enemy, so that's normal. About his health not moving; or you have a very low damage, or the gear he's using is bugged, or he's a cheater, since no NB can stack high weapon damage with such a high tank resistance as you describe it.

Maybe he stacked some shields, including via a set bonus?

I've always wondered why Parabellum isn't more popular for duels.

Not enough information. OP build is a very generic description. Some may be able to speculate but know one can tell you what the guy was wearing.

Was he setup like a dueler? S/B 2H?

Widowmaker is pretty nasty. Viper, Hundings, Kena or Veledrith.....was there poisons in your deathcap?

I do not recall seeing any poisons or any proc sets. However I remember seeing poison injection, incap, heavy attack, surprise attack. I speculate he was wearing 5 heavy armor and using the shadow barrier passive to boost his defense through using Shadow clock.

he was using 2h and bow.
