Technically these aren't micro transactions since you get currency for subscribing. You can easily buy any cosmetic you want with this currency.0 -

✭✭✭✭✭There are no microtransactions in my version of the game. I spend my $15 a month on ESO+ and that's it.
If everyone else did the same, they would stop coding microtransactions into the game. And since that's never going to happen, the answer to your question, sadly, is "no".
Doubtful. WoW and FF14 both have required subscriptions to play (i.e, "everyone" is paying their $15/mo). And they still have cash shops.
(Or if you're just talking about "if people would just stop buying things from the crown store".... then they'd be wasting part of what they get with their ESO+ fee, those 1500 crowns/mo.)0
