Recently I've been getting a DirectX not supported error when I try to load the game. This doesn't happen 100% of the time, but started about a week ago. I've rebooted, repaired, and even updated my drivers to (381.65). I get it almost 90% of the time. If I keep poking at it eventually I'm able to get in.
Screenshot was from before updating drivesr, but just to show DX11 is listing properly.
DirectX definitely works, but it seems like something on ESO is improperly detecting whether DirectX is actually there
OR something on my PC is preventing ESO from seeing DirectX. I can boot up games like Halo Wars 2, Quantum Break, Rise of the Tomb Raider and have zero issues. Everything plays smoothly, crisply and as it should. But ESO seems to flip a coin as to whether or not the DirectX warning appears.
I'm not sure what's causing it, if it's an ESO issue, Windows 10 issue, or something else altogether.
Any ideas?
EDIT:
As if to further my point, I've not been able to load the game for the past hour due to the error, but after posting this I got in.
