    Hyperbole.
Even on the internet, clear communication is important; it can be the difference between "helping your Uncle Jack off a horse" and "helping your uncle jack off a horse"; the difference between "knowing your s***" and "knowing you're s***".

Do they pause ESO Plus? :P

Hope they fix the broken dungeon finder and eternal loading screens in Cyrodiil.

Right now I'm poking fun at people who make hyperbolic statements on the ESO forum with absolutely no evidence to back them up. Check my post history - I'm no fan of ZOS, but let's stick to things we can actually criticise them for, shall we?

1 day off ESO a week isn't gonna kill you. In fact, it'd probably do you more good than anything.

I appreciate you adding a fanboy disclaimer before your fanboy statement but.

    Who's criticizing?

    I'm simply stating a fact.

ESO is only available 6 days a week.

Oh ffs. Every mmo has maintenance. Some maintenance is long, sometimes it's short. Read your ToS, breathe, and go find something else to do. You will survive your pixel addiction, I promise.

The majority of the time ESO is available for 7 days a week. Your statement implies that more often than not, ESO is only available for 6 days a week, which is simply not true.

If you said ESO is only available 6 days a week this week, then it would be an accurate statement.

Just because it isn't available during the part of the day you'd like it to be, doesn't mean it isn't available that day at all.

Each user has to look at what the game offers, in terms of fun, availability, performance, etc. and decide if it's for them.
I like ESO, I play it.

And no, it's not Chick Filet**.
They do have maintenance, and it can be kinda long, but I personally prefer them trying to fix things (like the logon issues we have been experiencing lately).

BTW - i do not believe that has anything to do with ddos.

He was correct with the hyperbole comment. Maintenance doesn't happen every week and last few maintenance times were fairly short. Maintenance is a normal and required part of every MMO.

The main locations (territories of Alliances) can be made available offline, but only in a single mode. The player has the right to simply pump the game character.

Agreed. I've been up since 3 AM Central, waiting to play, and now I'm going to have to go to work. Feels like 6 days a week to me!

That's funny, 'cause I somehow managed to play 7 days a week, and have for the past couple of months.
    (It's an addiction ...)

I think this downtime sucks, too, because I'm sick today and would LOVE to be able to play, but the server being down this long is quite rare.

This thread would fit best on Twitter, OP didn't even elaborate in the subject, kinda just popped up to throw an exhagerated complaint.

I highly disagree but even if it were true, take this day off to spend time with your family, go outside, play something else, I'm amazed TES:O is even a thing, we could all be playing something else, something older, or worse if not for ESO.

Seems more like a stressed user annoyed for being addicted or obsessed with TES:O and this is not good for anybody, ZOS also takes the hit if people are highly attached to the game and in the first accord of something going wrong run to the forums to bash them.

    Not much use to anyone.
