Triple whammy (Help me thread)

So maybe a year and a half ago I really enjoyed playing Stamplar. I was experimenting with various races, builds, set-ups, and gear.

I settled on a Redguard. (Massive Stam recovery in melee).

Now I am on the TRIPLE THREAT LIST:

Redguard (getting passives nerfed), Templar (getting nerfed) & he is wearing golded out Twice Born Star medium armor (going away).

This is NOT a patch note complaint thread, but a "What should I do?" thread.

    Passive nerf won't obliterate you.

Templar nerf is for healers, which if you a Stamina builder with medium armor, I don't imagine you picking up that as your main role... could be wrong though.

TBS, haven't heard anything about it... don't know what it is exactly stat wise and all.

I think you should wait for changes, then do exactly as you normally do, and that'll give you enough information where you yourself will be able to determine the corrective course.

Wasn't the change to fix people losing their 2nd mundus?

    1. Redguard won't the beast it is on live, but don't count it out yet. Redguard is still a fine stamina race. Once the racial passive changes are finalized (we still have only seen the first round of patch notes, so we're in the You Never Know phase), I might be thinking about race change tokens. But it's too early for that now.

    2. Templar in general may have gotten nerfed, but Stamplar in particular did not -- in fact, I think there's a solid case to be made that Stamplar will be in the best place it has ever been in the upcoming patch. We'll have unique group utility and resource management, and we have a cheap ultimate and pretty fast ult regen, synergizing quite well with the new War Machine set. In PVP, even though we're losing Major Mending, we still have a cheap purge and huge burst potential (and again, unique group utility). I don't see Stamplars disappearing from PVP anytime soon.

    3. TBS fell out of its BIS position in the Homestead patch, not Morrowind. It's still decent for sure, and it could be nice to be able to run Serpent alongside Thief, but that's a discussion we had several months ago. TBS being weaker has nothing to do with this round of patch notes. Twice-Fanged Snake is now generally the go-to set for endgame stam DPS, but we'll see how the meta shifts in Morrowind.
7-day PVP campaign regular 2016-2019, Flawless Conqueror. MagDK/stamplar/stamwarden/mageblade. Requiem, Legend, Knights of Daggerfall. Currently retired from the wars; waiting on performance improvements.

Well crit damage did get punked a little back. I would say run 5VO with all cost reduction enchantments next patch? But the PTS is not final so let's just wait on more information to be complete. Everyone will have to adjust, whether that means using drinks in pve or one sustain set+heavy weaves is yet to be known.

Take a look at this thread:

    https://forums.elderscrollsonline.com/en/discussion/337713/pve-stamina-dds-analysis-only-existing-classes/p1

There's still hope for Stamina Classes and the Stamplar

TBS fell out of favor a while back with the Homestead update due to the changes ZOS made to Crit in general. I think most ppl have settled for Twice-Fanged Snake or Night Mother's Gaze now

And Redguard is still a fine race for both PvE and PvP content.
