Why are the Rings from the "Golden Vendor" bound to you but the Necklaces are not? (Answered)

The question is in the title... - Why are the Rings from the "Golden Vendor" bound to you but the Necklaces are not?

Last week I bought up a few Necropotence Necklaces and sold them on the guild trader. This week I bought a couple of Hircane Rings and was going to sell them on the guild trader but they are bound to me. For the record I never put them on!!

Is this a bug or is it intended?

Thanks in advance for any and all help!

It isn't that rings bind on pickup and necklaces don't, it's that the jewelry has the same bindiness as their in-world counterparts. Hircine's Veneer is a bind-on-pickup set, so its pieces are sold by the Golden as such.

Necropotence is an overland set and therefore tradeable. Hircines Veneer set is a dungeon drop and therefore not.

Sets that are BOP in the game are BOP when they appear at Golden. Sets that are BOE in the game are BOE when they appear at Golden(like Neropotence, be it ring or necklace).

Items purchased from the Golden Vendor behave the same way the item would if you got it the regular way. So in this instance, Necropotence is an overland set that drops in Rivenspire and would be bind on equip (sellable). Hircine's on the other hand is a dungeon set that drops in Selene's Web and is bind on pick-up (not sellable)
