I think your support team needs to reconsider how they approach their responses to tickets. They are asking normal people to check router ports, with no instructions on how to do so. Not to mention that doing this incorrectly can possibly open up your network to attacks. Not to mention that the reply itself is completely robotic and mechanical in its construction. Plus, it didn't work for the person that received the communication.

"Greetings,
Error 200 occurs when a player is unable to reach one of the game's megaservers. If you receive this error, you should try again in a few minutes. If you continue to receive this message after waiting, try the following troubleshooting steps:
Check our Service Alerts page for details about the status of the game.
Ensure that any anti-virus/firewall protection has exception rules for The Elder Scrolls Online.
Ensure the following ports are open on your modem / router:
TCP / UDP Ports 24100 through 24131
TCP / UDP Ports 24300 through 24331
TCP / UDP Ports 24500 through 24507
TCP Port 80
TCP Port 433
If you have completed these steps and are still experiencing the issue, please reply to this email with a screenshot of your error message. Please note that we are aware that some players may not be able to sign into ESO at this time.
We are investigating the issue and hope to resolve the it so players can return to normal play as soon as possible. The best way to keep up to date is by keeping an eye on the ESO Forums. You can find the forums here: Elder Scrolls Online forums
Kind regards,
The Elder Scrolls Online Team"

    It's called a delaying tactic.

Keep you busy so they can go watch some more cute cat videos or whatever they do at CS all day.

I disagree on the view. From the looks of the reply, I feel there is adequate information to trouble shoot the problem and allow the consumer to further investigate their issues.

For online games, it is common to not reach the server now and then. As frustrating as it is, it is just something a gamer has to learn to accept. The server will be down now and then, or their connection to it is borked for a bit. Zenimax can't troubleshoot your connection as that is a role for your isp, so those gltiches are going to take a few minutes up to a full day or so.

If your computer is running other online games and it is having this problem with eso for weeks and weeks and weeks, then not much else you can try other then the steps they mentioned. Got no idea what else you are expecting from them.

As to the roboticness of it, think of trying to reply to hundreds of thousands of customers. I feel you are expecting more then is reasonable for a corporation to provide as it sounds like you want a personalised technician to walk you through troubleshooting your network issues.

Imagine visiting an arcade in person. On their side, they have open the shop. They advertise that you can park nearby in parking. If there is a traffic jam going on, its unreasonable to call the kid on shift to leave the facility just to try waive you through the parking mess to find a park. The kid on shift taking the calls has to look after all the other kids in the center, he isn't a technician specialised in your vehicle type and able to divert all traffic to ensure you get the best spot to walk right in.

Doesn't your router come with a manual? I am pretty sure if you own a router you're meant to understand the basics of using it, if not I hear Google is a thing.
