I have an employee account with WoW and I don't play it. After buying Imperial Edition ESO on sale, without all the DLC that the newer players got to enjoy on sale, I feel neither ESO or ESO: Morrowind was/is worth the cost. However that's just my opinion as an investor and it can change in time, with improvements to the many bugs/glitches and network issues remaining unsolved over the last couple years.

Ok you already told me then. If it was a positive opinion you would had tell me XD.
If someone says ITS GREAT! Im sure NDA is nothing but if someone says its bad then hey hey NDA rules broken.
It would violate NDA rules either way. I don't know what the punishment would be, but at the very least they'd be shut out of any future beta tests.

Only thing your gonna get, given the NDA, is the base game changes is an absolute disaster.

Only thing I can tell you past the NDA is that this guy right here is wrong. On all of my characters (except Templar which admittedly I already sucked on) I have found the changes reasonable thus far, and of course these changes are subject to change. Ignore the doomsayers.

...I dont recall, or see a point where I've yelled in that statement the sky is falling.

been playtesting quite a bit and i will NOT comment on anything about the morrowind side of things but...

    i can say this -

i am not cancelling my pre-order at all as far as the base gameplay goes. i consider the base gameplay to be a better experience there - acknowledging its week one and some bugs exist and that there are some changes i am advising them to change or revert or expand upon.

Whether that means it will be good for you or not is another story.

    But the gameplay

I was a QA Tester for them many many years ago, before the Activision merge, I think they were still tied to Vivendi however.

Not sure what you expect people to tell you, since they know nothing about you, what you like, how you play, and what you consider to be value. If you cannot get on PTS, and cannot get into the beta, watch the ESO Live streams, read the information they have published, and read the reviews that will eventually be posted on various websites.

Don't play a lawyer on tv or internet unless you actually are one.

People talk about the NDA as if it is some iron tight restriction. It is not.

Whether you agree the possible damages are large or trivial (to you the player that might violate the NDA), as long as you live in a country where free speech is protected, the NDA only covers the person violating the NDA, not anyone else who merely passes on that disclosed information (the press, random bloggers, anyone and everyone that can't be proven to have agreed to the NDA)

All it takes is 1 person to violate the NDA and pass on info, pics, streams, whatever - to any person not covered by the NDA and that info can then be freely discussed, disemminated, whatever.

Because ZOS owns this forum, they can censor whatever they want. But there is zero legal action they can take for people passing on info even if that info was illegally gained. The person violating a law can be held to account, everyone else who merely passed on or discussed that now public domain info is completely immune.

This is a bedrock of USA law. Europe may have different laws but the U.K. Is the same as USA - or other way around in that we adopted much of UK based manga carta law into the US.

The one person that violated the NDA? Good luck ZOS finding and proving who disclosed the pics, info, streams, etc. all th can do - which is their right - is censor and forbid that discussion on IP they own (this website)

    Where do you practice law?

Answering that on a public forum would indirectly suggest, though not prove, but give good directional assumption one is not a legal professional by answering such a question.

Google disclosure of classified, stolen, or illegally obtained information. 6th grade education and simple parsing of both federal and state statutes on freedom of public domain information - however it was acquired - can prove for yourself it is protected speech.

The guy violating the NDA? Depends on damages ZOS could prove was attributed to the leak but would be civil not criminal matter, and again - good luck proving who initially disclosed it while everyone else not bound by NDA is completely free to spam it whenever and wherever.

The recipe can be found in an obscure chest in an out of the way village near some volcano on the Island That Shall Not Be Named, part of The Chapter That Shall Not Be Named. Or rumor has it.

Gonna be pretty easy for ZOS since the account name will be "watermarked" all over the screen.

This is under NDA, you can not discuss Morrowind, the warden, battleground or the trial.

We can discuss the nerfs, how much your dps gone drop, how you better don't take damage as healer if OOM and other fun topics.

And yes its an remarkable marketing strategy, new coke and ford edsel is two others remarkable ones.
Grinding just make you go in circles.
Asking ZoS for nerfs is as stupid as asking for close air support from the death star.

Violating an NDA on the official ESO forums in ANY way is basically asking to get kicked from the beta at minimum, and banned at worst. Even if it is just to say "Hey it's worth it." Stop being stupid.

Do you like new quests to play? Do you like new areas to explore? Do you like smal scale pvp? If you clicked yes on one or more then the answer is likely........

    Yes morrowind is worth

Tehcnically by nature of an NDA, the game company could reserve the right to sue you. If they actually would just for going "Yeah it's pretty good..."? I doubt it. But it is at your own risk.

There have been some awesome tv lawyers played by awesome people so I must say that I disagree with your demand.
    But it's all good man.

    Because they're shilling for zyngamax.

I'll be getting back into ARR and playing this instead, coming out June 20 just a couple of weeks later

    http://na.finalfantasyxiv.com/stormblood/

Certain to have fun and varied combat

Morrowind taught me the first time around, that games named morrowind have awful combat.

If i do get morrowind, once I've finished the story on one character, likely a warden if the name Barbarian Shaman is available, I'll farm the defiler set and pair it with leviathan for bows and viper for melee and plug in a pad tying a rubberband behind the right trigger (possibly moving the install to a vm to avoid the need to tab to maintain heavies) and be using thief mundus divines traits weapon damage yellow runes along with the crit passive slotted on my nb in a very tiny portion of my ultrawide while I pay attention to FF14 ARR Stormblood instead once the morrowind content is dried up. Ini editing eso to the lowest possible settings as well since i won't be paying much attention to it beside looting a dolmen now and then when I feel like it. I'll be there, seeing the screen, I have tied the band while split screening it and watching tv before so cry about it people I need some lulz. Forcing battleground types to be randomized ruined morrowind's battlegrounds for myself> I was ONLY interested in CTF mode. People are sad focusing on deathmatches in eso this is NOT the right game for that kind of mmo pvp. That's what GW2 is for.
