Flawed system - Champion points

This is not the first time balance changes happen because of the extreme champion points and the so called progression. You want for players to feel they are going ahead by increasing the CP cap but then again you have to constantly tweak things like: Pve Monsters, Champion perk values and now you made a step further Zos by altering a lot of abilities, mechanics of individual and not only (whole armor types) of classes.

When are you going to remove completely or just make Champion points give some form of other "cosmetic" (well not cosmetic but I think you get my point) bonuses?

Morrowind base patch is one of the many to come as I see it.

Of course there are many that agree with this and others who disagree but this vicious circle will never end. It's like the economy, inflation and the depression. This system is destined to fail.

Humble opinion, awaiting your criticism be it negative or not.

This was discussed, predicted and analyzed when CP was announced. Almost everyone who was half-decent at this game knew that CP would ruin anything resembling balance to a extreme degree and they were right (myself included, was against CP as flat stat bonuses in every shape or form), along with the lift of stat caps which made it even more out of control.
It only took ZoS nearly 2 years to realize this and start acting upon it, which is a good thing in a way, BUT...

Ever since then - a lot of content, a lot of gear sets, race/skill nerfs and buffs have been done with CP in mind and somewhat around it. Removing CP all together without re-tweaking almost everything in base-game is going to cause a lot of additional issues. Especially to those who started playing post-1.6 and don't know any better.
They started with CP, grew up with CP, did everything with CP and assume CP is fine and working well, they don't have a reference point to compare what CP really did to the game and how it affects it. It's like taking a current generation child and removing all the technology from them - phones, tablets, internet access - everything they grew up with and took as a norm - they will go insane as they don't know any different, yet do that to a mature adult and they will get by as they didn't have or need all of it when growing up and did just fine in life, same as everyone else from before.

Us oldies (at least some of us) (but judging by Azura's population boom - it's a given)) can adapt to CP changes or do away with CP all together as we played the game without CP for a long time and didn't think nothing of it, just need to dust off some pre-CP armour set combinations that functioned well without it, change around some skills and jewelry and off we go. But those who don't know a game without CP it's going to be a hard pill to swallow, especially when more and more CP "balances" roll out, which no doubt it will.
Can't blame you guys, not your fault. However ZoS should've listened from the start. The people who warned about this did not just blow hot air - almost everything we said has come to pass, slowly but surely.
But ZoS is ZoS and they will do it their way.

CP should've been done in a way that you can only specialize in ONE tree at the time and make it more fleshed out AND without it being just flat stat bonuses, but something along the lines like specific bonuses to skills or class or race. Heck, they could've made current proc system as a side-perk of a specific CP tree or node. Which makes you truly "specialize" in a specific manner towards one goal not be a Jack-of-all-trades and splatter points into everything making you a powerhouse in every single aspect.

I can't help but wonder, changes are being made mostly based on current CP system. What happens in the non-cp Campaigns though? They get hammered even more without having any CPs. I don't know if you get my point..

I've seen people asking for differentation of PVP and PVE but we, right now, have differences already in PVP as in non-cp Campaigns and CP campaigns. This to me seems like a total mess.

better yet make a real AA system. this thing was nothing but a half baked attempt its horrible it needs more depth less increments and actives in the trees. all the CP system was in reality was the VR system , all the VR system did was increase your chrs power passively.
