I've heard from beta testers who hated the patch notes... They're actually having loads of fun over there. Guess why? Because they didn't just give up like little crybabies and found a way.

This is how every major MMO works anyway. You get new stuff/gear/skills/rebalance every quarter or so.

EDIT: I'm also baffled how people with absolutely no idea about endgame just join the hate-crowd to look cool. Like what the F... This is just sad.

Maybe adapting for the sake of my own enjoyment which in and of itself takes more time than is necessary is something I dont wanna do.

Also I never whined back about people voicing their opinion. I simply told them to move on because quite frankly It's getting stupid. People waste the space made for creative discussion to post their dislikes over the same thing over and over. The way I see it I'm doing you all a favour, because you just look stupid if not mentally handicapped when repeating what has been said a thousand times. Has anyone even responded to a single "complaint" thread from ZOS? I've seen like 1 out of all and the response wasn't even related. Another thing a mature grown up person realises btw.

Sorry but your in the wrong here he has every right to say he is done and etc, your the one who decided to criticize for someone not adapting to what you think adapt to in the first place? I mean who are you to think you have a right to tell others what they should adapt to? He is adapting he is moving on and spending his time he feels is more worth his time.

And obviously you cared enough to respond the way you did. I do think he should wait and see the future patch notes but I am not going to insult him over it, it is his opinion and his time and he has way more right then you do to judge the value of his time.

People are allowed to voice their opinion. No matter how much you want to clamp your hands over their throats and strangle them to silence them, you cant. To be actually be relvent, and touch upon what I said earlier, yes, we're able to just leave in absolute silence and do nothing else, to take our money and go, but does that benefit anyone? No, the designers dont know why we left and probably are not going to ask. Whether or not, it'll help ZOS, who seem to have a spotty track record of utilizing consumer feedback, is another discussion. But again, if we simply leave, we solve no problems, and cause at least one major problem.

Whether it be threads like this, attempting to get a handle on how many are leaving, in order to give -some- kind of context to the onlookers to make predictions or the multi-page constructive threads adressing the devs directly, all have a right, and reason, to exist. You do not get to destroy them because you disagree with them. It's all part of a larger puzzle, attempting to be constructed. Whether the devs actually look at the end result we cobble together, is their choice. As is my choice, to take my buisness elsewhere depending on that choice.

People posting their opinions and writing down their feelings, yet when there's someone YOU people don't agree with it requires a guanostorm of essays and explanantions and justifications and reasonsings, as well as attempts at education. That's pretty much your last 2 posts in a nutshell. Like I said. I'm done with this thread. There is no point and you'll always be right in your own way along with others. Therefore I'll be a much wiser man and take my leave, so that I can keep my sanity and happiness intact the way it was.

My initial point still stands. Absolutely no reason to hate the game as of now, there is no hard solid evidence yet, there is not enough testing and won't be for weeks to come. You can't change that fact as much as you hate it.

I'm going to give it a shot and I'm hoping they come to a middle ground. But, if they don't get it right by release I will probably just move on.

I understand what they are trying to do, but missed the mark incredibly. I wish they would just go back to the drawing board and reevaluate the direction and how best to do it. This just feels like a shotgun approach.

I quit every other month. I've been PVPing since Apr 2014, and PVP was why I quit. I recently made my toon for PVE, got into housing, into the market, and changed it all up. Its like a new game!

@DragonBound dont know when was the last time you played gw2 but its a little better now. Even for spvp which is unforgiving when it comes to builds.

Probably 50-60% of people in this game feel that way based on forums and talking to players. There are a small portion of people who get mad about all the complaining but they don't seem to be he ones that play the content. If questing, crafting and role playing are the reason you play, it's great. It seems like they just watched streams of how top scoring guilds are doing things and just nerfed or deleted entirely most things that allow them to succeed. Necrotic orb sharing a cooldown time with a templar synergy? That's out of left field but it won't affect anyone except templar healers using twilight remedy to give sorcs minor force, or tank heal on AA. I'm on console anyways so the game is different. We're already nerfed by terrible frames and synergies that don't prompt people in the radius because they blast into the sky or don't appear at all, the changes will just make a lot of things useless to run.

The difference is this is not a patch, it's a $60 launch that a lot of people are dreading because they've left VMoL broken on console, along with major DC and frame issues that have been mounting for a long time and have been very slow to respond to. What happens if We buy morrowind and the new trial is broken on console like maw? There won't be a refund I can almost guarantee it. They've been sly though, they always keep a wall up to prevent people from canceling subs (craft bag) or make them purchase content to be OP (Warden).

Every time there is a major content nerf, in ZoS speak - an update, people always say they're leaving or quitting. It's like the end of the world.

This is the first time I've actually felt like it's time to go. There has been so many bugs left unfixed, many skills left not working properly, completely unbalanced skills and sets, constant performance issues in both PvE and PvP, all ontop of the nerf hammer that comes down time and time again.

It's to the point where I don't feel as though ZoS is actually trying to fix their game for the players, instead just pump out as much copy/paste content to get money. Honestly, Warden is a copy/paste of various DK/Templar/Sorc/Resto Staff skills with different animations. It's like they put very little effort into the class at all. Hell, conspiracy theories aside, they're nerfing some very important class skills this upcoming patch and giving some of said buffs and alike skills to Warden. Somewhat like they're baiting the community into purchasing Morrowind.

We're only a week into the PTS, there is still plenty of time to make a decision. Yet having partaken in every PTS and seeing many of our complaints and ideas fall on deaf ears, I don't hold a whole lot of hope that many, if any, of the current changes will be reversed.

I've just cancelled my membership. Of course I just paid for six months a little while ago so this will carry me through the next patch. Now wishing I hadn't bought so much time, just assumed Morrowind was going to rule. Anyway, I won't be renewing unless some serious changes are made towards actual balance and not just crippling the game.

I'm not going to quit but I'm taking a break. I have exams in a week and oral exams in June and the oral exams will take a month.
So I'm not only taking a break because of the patch notes, but also because I have upcoming exams.

I don't trust anyone who says they've decided to quit if they still come here and post in the forums. If a person has really quit the game, they won't bother coming here and posting any more.

But I do think some people will quit over recent proposed changes. The only pertinent question is whether people continue to spend money on the game, whether the amount of that money spent increases or decreases, regardless of the total number of players. That remains to be seen. And of course, we will never know the actual numbers anyway.

I wont stop because i regularly play with my BF and my daughter. But I have left my guild because I wont play/invest time in my templar healer anymore. At least not until after I can see what effect Morrowind has. I dont feel there is any point in grinding for gear as it will be almost an entirely new game after Morrowind. So I guess i just "stay calm and carry on" until then. But very casually.
I´ll spend more time in Black Desert instead.
