Access to Authentication Servers Down?

I'm seeing no connectivity to the zene authentication servers as well as the NA complex. PTS was running fine.
Also, I'm getting lost in the Support pages, it seems I no longer have the ability to submit reports from the patch client for troubleshooting.

    They said the issue was resolved but alot of people on the east coast, primarily north east are still having trouble connecting. I'm in MA and I still can't connect to NA servers. I can connect to EU servers fine, so its not an issue on our end.

    yep whenever you see the 'Could not retrieve announcements' I figure it can't even reach the basic service.

    This has been a recurring issue since launch. Only true fix seems to be just wait and try later.

    Yeah I'm getting the Could not retrieve announcements thing too, can't log in.

    me too, i'm from israel and even using a VPN service to help me lower ping on american server games, but any time i even open up my game my entire computer slows down like crazy since yesterday

    Midwest is not connecting either same goes for Canada.

    Sometime around 0100 EDT, my gaming partner across the desk got kicked out and is currently receiving ERROR 200. I'm still in-game and navigating fine within the zone we were exploring.

    Around 1:00 AM EDT, I got kicked out and I am currently receiving ERROR 200. I have reloaded the game several times to no avail... and rebooted the system twice since then. No Help. Error 200 on each log in attempt. It appears that the Server problem is still alive and well that started Friday.

    Error 200 not able to connect to server NA had this problem since 4pm pst.. I can connect to PTS so its a ZOS server problem. Ran Game Consultant, all fine except ping to Bethesda.net... timed out.

    Error 200 again.. got kicked at 2pm yesterday 4/22/2017 checked on and off through the night with no luck. tried again this morning got in started doing writs went to change toons and got booted again. this is getting old

    In Florida--been having the Error 200 problem all morning. Would definitely appreciate some acknowledgement of the issue...

    I'm having the problem this morning in the northeast. My wife was successfully playing earlier, however, and we have the same IP address and everything else.

    Did you guys try running repair from the launcher? i was also having this issue and tried that and im in now just fine.

    Couldn't get into the game yesterday afternoon. Trying again this morning, and I still get the "Could not retrieve announcements" and not able to log in. NA Server, Louisiana.

    I began receiving Error 200 around 7 PM EDST on 22 April 2018. I made at least 4 attempts thereafter. Each attempt consisted of entering the password on the main log-in dialog, which pre-loads my "Player Name", and receiving the Error 200 message as the outcome. I made three attempts in succession, usually with about 5 minutes between the 2nd and 3rd.

    The most recent Service Alert was and still is: 2017.04.22 - 17:00 UTC (13:00 EDT) stating: "The issues related to logging in to the North American megaservers have been resolved at this time."

    Among other measures, I power-cycled the router, which contains a DOCSIS 3.0 cable "mode". I also used the Bethesed.net Launcher Game Options menu to Repair Files. But the issue remains unresolved.

    Where I live in Florida, *** Communications is my ISP. I haven't contacted them because I have not encountered any issues connecting with websites or other networks. So there doesn't seem to be a problem with my own hardware and LAN, with the *** network, or with access to the Internet.

    Of course, I sent an e-mail message to Customer Support, but they are only available from 7:00 AM - 10:00 PM each day, and will not respond to a message unless the issue remains unresolved for four days and the player replies to the brush-off after that.

    Nothing changed before I finally stopped attempting to log-in after 04:00 AM EDST on 23 April 2018.

    The situation remains as described as of this message at approximately 02:50 PM EDST on 23 April 2018.

    Post Edit: the censoring software for this "adult" game replaces the name of my ISP with *** ( C O X Communications). LOL .... Now I suppose that I'll try the command line: ipconfig /flushdns ..... See you in-game soon, I hope!!

    I think it is mainly affecting steam users, because i can get on without issue but my buddy who plays through steam cannot get on.

    Not on steam.
    Not on East Coast.
    Can log in to forums.
    Can log in to account page.
    Cannot log into game.

    Says failed login every time and I am certain the credentials are valid.


    EDIT - I resolved this by navigating to command prompt and running ipconfig /flushdns

    I'm able to log on to the European server, but not the NA server. This is a problem on their end, not mine.

    It is a problem on their end, all of the suggestions otherwise are incorrect and likely placebo effects. At this point it's random to get past the Error 200. I could easily say that doing exactly 13 pushups and 22 situps will resolve the issue--because for someone somewhere, after doing this, it just might happen to log them in afterward. However, the problem lies with Zenimax's network.

    The command worked fine on my computer. However, neither it nor any other tool that I've used has resolved the issue.

    It has now been 24 hours since I had access to play the game. So far I have yet to see any kind of acknowledgement from ZOS that the problem is even occurring, such as a Service Alert, or a banner at the top of the Forum pages that I've seen for XBox and PlayStation "service interruptions".

    I keep getting error 200, with eventually being able to log in, only to get thrown out soon afterwards. Ongoing all morning and very frustrating experience. This seems to occur more often over the past week, perhaps partially due to the free week / weekend of new players and then many of those converting to buying the game?
