I have not found this game fun since homestead, and stopped playing around it's release.

ZOS's attempts to bring it back to the beta balance, which drove me away, are evident and anathema to me.

I think about quitting a lot but that's down to playing solo which gets very boring, especially since I only do pve and I've already completed most of it so I'm just doing the same thing over and over. I will wait until Morrowind because I'm looking forward to exploring the new zone, afterwards I might give ESO a break and move onto something else

I don't play 8-9 hours a day like some people do, so I suffer little to no burnout.

Moderation is the key - you can't help but burn out on something if you do it ALL DAY EVERY DAY.

It's not the game burning people out, its people burning themselves out.

    ^ This.

I have a full time job and other interests other than videogames. I do enjoy playing ESO a lot, and I make sure I log in at least once a day to do my crafting dailies. That does not mean I do not take the game seriously: I am currently progressing in veteran trials and I do care about having a good build and making good dps.

On my pijama days, I can spend around 8-9 hours playing ESO, however other days I prefer to just do a daytrip somewhere away the city, or just go shopping/meet some friends.

I do care about the game and reading the forums these days make me wonder what will happen after Morrowind.

As per myself, I will continue playing and supporting the game until they shut down the servers.

I paid a sub that runs out in June so Im going to get my money's worth but I can tell you that if they plan on nerfing all calsses except Warden like they stated in the notes, Im out. I've had enough of working to perfect a charater and having the basics of that character ripped out making me have to rebuild it. And in this case it would be TEN characters. And if I go, I wont be back... and that means my wallet goes. <... catch that last part Zos?

Ofc they are nerfing every class exept the warden, because the warden is new into the game, so there isnt much to nerf yet!

People seem to get more stupid every single day, while raging more...At least ESO is becomming what it supposed to be: a game for the dedicated players that love the hardships of a true Elder Scrolls Game!

I really don't get why there is actually a reason to ask who stopped play eso on eso forum.
What are these people doing here? It's like stalking ex-girlfriend. Weird.

A lot of the threads like this have been reaching a high post count, staying on the first page, and should draw attention from the people who need to see them (devs). There are only a couple actions people can take to protest the new changes, and most people enjoy the game and don't want to quit, but have spent too much time perfecting their current build and playing it at the level it was capable of for a long time while perfecting it was worth the grind.

They keep trying to combat all the negativity with "jump on the PTS and try it out for yourself, it's not that bad!" But it is, and that's the problem. It's not really a test server, they already know the changes are permanent and will pigeonhole people into playing a warden and abandoning the characters they've spent hundreds of hours on, they just don't care.

I hardly play. I'll login every here and there to do favors for people, or to do writs/upgrades (if I remember). ESO has gone stale to me, and there are far too many amazing games out. Persona 5 and Horizon Zero Dawn for example. Or Mass Effect: Andromeda.

You guys should all just chill the hell out and adapt. Seriously...

All the people whining and acting like this on the forums are worse than my sister's 5 year old kid.

People don't even have any solid evidence nor reliable testing data and they're already throwing everything away.

I've heard from beta testers who hated the patch notes... They're actually having loads of fun over there. Guess why? Because they didn't just give up like little crybabies and found a way.

This is how every major MMO works anyway. You get new stuff/gear/skills/rebalance every quarter or so.

EDIT: I'm also baffled how people with absolutely no idea about endgame just join the hate-crowd to look cool. Like what the F... This is just sad.

I honestly was just curious to see if a lot of people are quitting the game and whether it was because of Morrowind or another reason. I logged in yesterday and 4 people that I know have been playing for 2 plus years said they are quitting.

Considering it. Have seen this sort of healer class destruction before (WoW Cataclysm), and left WoW because of it. If these changes to Healer and Tank capabilities remain, I am probably done with ESO as well. Have already canceled my 6mo subscription so it does not auto-renew in June. Purchase of the Morrowind "expansion" is highly unlikely. But, will see how it all plays out at the release with the patch notes for that.

I may have pre ordered destiny 2.

If it's only half as *** as the first ESO could have a problem.

I am signed up for Quake Champions Beta. Wont be spending money but I'll Beta. After that Im going to overhaul all of my PCs... Win98SE, XP and 7... so that I can have the best single player rigs. Pretty much done with online gaming. Tired of putting in the work and having them do something to force me into reworking builds I spent nearly a year getting to what I would term perfect or near perfect. And it's not just ZOS. It's DDO, LotRO, SWtOR, etc etc etc. If they cant get it right before release, why release it at all? I've had enough. And I can only hope everyone else is as fed up as I am.

No plans to stop completely playing, but I am never stuck on just one game either.

I will come and go to other games for a few months at a time. Rarely do I leave because of any mechanic changes.

This is exactly what I'm talking about. You take the game too far and then whine and make the developers and everybody look bad. It was your decision that you've put so much time into "perfecting" something. You didn't have to, you CHOSE to. So don't blame the devs for changing THEIR PRODUCT as THEY SEE FIT.

I'm not going to put anyone out into the spotlight and risk their beta access by posting sensitive class balance/build info publicly here.
