@timborggrenlarsenb16_ESO .. ESO has ALWAYS been a 'normal' themepark MMO (with the main story, guild quests chains and Cadwell's being the tramlines), only the TES zealots tried to make out it was something special .. it's had 'dailies' for years, and if anything the PVP side has been seriously lacking in variety of content with BGs a glaring absence.

I've loved TES since Daggerfall and enjoy ESO in the main, but apart from details like how ZOS implemented traditional 'skill trees' the basic game follows the well worn paths from earlier eras when it comes to questing, character leveling/progression, PVP, etc.

Well it is an MMO after all.

It's not like its taking away from any of the TES based content though, we still get quarterly updates with TES style content or story content.

Daily quest are a needed evil to keep you doing something whilst they write up and develop more content.

@Fishoscandi had the song playing whilst making the post. Damn I haven't listened to Metallica in a while (I know, I know a sin) I should load my media player up more often.

You have been wanting to turn ESO into a normal mmeporg by adopting everything every other mmeporg has and now that your wishes were finally granted you begin whining about it? Get real.

ZOS have always said its an hybrid game. And not a standard MMO. So im with you on this. I do however like MMORPG games in general. But i do hope and like to see that they also remember its a TES game and not a standard MMO. So like to see more RPG elements, story and new thinking that is not in other mmo games.
