Gold Edition or sub ?

Right now I am playing F2P, used to sub for a long while but stopped because am subbing in another game. Am now thinking of picking up the Gold Edition. Is the Gold Edition a viable alternative to a sub ? Are there benefits / cons to it ? If anyone who has it could shed some light that would be great !

If you already have the game you can buy a DLC bundle to get all currently availible DLC except for SotH. Benefits of owning the DLC is that it's a one time fee. Benefits to sub is that it comes with other stuff, though you'll only have access to it when you're subbed.

If you don't want to sub, then buying the dlc bundle from the crown store (not each dlc separately) is a really good deal, especially if you use crowns purchased when they were on sale.
