    To those saying this is nothing like the NGE: you are correct - in terms of scope of changes to the game.

    Reaction on the other hand? Not close either, actually. But never underestimate the current era's ability to whine and cry things into oblivion.

    Stormproof: Vibeke - 50 EP mDragonknight | Savi Dreloth - 50 EP Magsorc | Sadi Dreloth - 50 EP Magblade | Sigtric Stormaxe - 50 EP Stamsorc | Valora Dreloth - 50 EP Magplar | Sigtric the Unbearable 50 EP Stam Warden
    Scrub: Chews-on-Beavers - 50 EP DK Tank | Vera the Wild - 50 EP magicka Warden | Sigtric the Axe - 50 EP Dragonknight Crafter | Sigtric the Blade - 50 EP Lost Nightblade | Sigtric the Savage - 50 EP magicka Templar | Vibeka Shadowblade - 50 Ep Stealthy Ganky Nightblade |

    This is not NGE. NGE changed the entire way the game was played. Everything changed. This is just a patch with a some changes to the way some skills work and the way resource management plays out. The game still plays the same. The way things are done are still the same. Crafting is the same, characters are the same, questing is the same. It's all still the same game. Stop trying to compare some minor changes with a complete overhaul of another game. That's like saying some renovations to a particular wall on your neighbors house has now turned your entire neighborhood into a drug infested ghetto.

    And for the record, the forums and YouTube streamers do not constitute the community. At best, the forums make up a small percentage of the whole community voice. The vast majority never even come to the forums. If they really wanted to hear the "voice of the community", they would need to log into the game and speak with everyone and see what they all say.

    So now they are minor changes? I don't think they are a major change of the game that will lead to its end. But they also are not minor.

    I also don't think that op was saying this will kill the game. Just that big changes where devs ignore the community CAN kill the game. And that point is very valid. It can also be said that the people who care to create a forum account probably care about the game a little more.

    What can be said is the majority of forum goers seem to be against the changes. Atleast from what I've read.

    These are not minor insignificant changes. Shoot the devs even said this was the biggest expansion/ additional content, to which the base game update is a part of.

    A long time ago in an MMORPG far, far away...

    An update did come to pass within another MMORPG resulting in a dissonance which killed the community. A dissonance of which echoes within what we are experiencing at this very moment.

    I don't want to see this community suffer.

    To the DEVs;
    Please do not linger within the ignorance of silence, deeming what actions you take to be warranted and just. Be amongst the people of your community. Listen to them, gather their thoughts and be empathetic to their desires. For they are the ones whom claim denizenship within the world you created and shape it's future.

    Support the community and the community shall support you.

    It was the Combat Upgrade (CU) about 6 months before the New Gaming Experience (NGE) that caused the lost most players. NGE just put the nail in the coffin .....

    Yup, and take feedback from actual PTS testers, not the people in the forum complaining "I made a Templar healer because Templar #1 Healer, now it's not #1" anymore", while actual PTS testing proves that Templar is still the best class in healing. Like, what?
